Lisa G. was an AMAZING instructor - super nice and helpful and encouraging. The space set up was awesome - plenty of light, nice work spaces with adjustable chairs and tables, easy access to power and design walls. Its smallish (I think limited to 8) but so very nice. I will definitely check out some of the open sew times and other classes. I also love the "rewards" program. I always have a couple of bucks I can throw towards my next purchase. They do carry some interfacing, foam and notions, but with the loss of Joann I'd love to see more (more thread for sure, more zippers and thingamabobs). And more evening hours!

The clerks, especially Coleen, were all helpful and friendly. I happen to mention that I have some things I needed to sew on a machine and do they rent a machine for a few hours?? YES !!! And very inexpensively. I signed up, went back a few days later, and got help setting my project up. Colleen could not have been a better helper. I was so pleased. You'll find anything made by a local MN artisan here. There's a section devoted to just the MN State Fair. It may be stuffed to the brim with things, but it is organized well. Bath, body, kitchen, cabin, baby, faith, sports, fashion, treats. I usually want it all. And it's a great place to find a birthday or thank you gift. They offer gift cards and have offered basic gift-wrapping in the past (ribbon tied on the bag). They also host artisan markets to showcase some vendors. I attended one of their flea markets today, that's when other antique vendors set up outside the perimeter of the house with their own goods. On flea market days, the white house items are an extra 20% off ( excluding sale items). All sales are final. Very fun place to walk thru, reminded me of all those antique shops in the Stillwater area. There are so many little spaces to discover and dig thru. In one of the rooms they even have free coffee to sample! Free parking in the lot next to it, in addition to free street parking in downtown Anoka. All the staff were welcoming and smiling as we came thru.
