Pooh's lasagna was a good size, tasty tomato sauce with a hint of béchamel and also smothered in cheese. This was a well know, much loved, staple business in the community. I begged him for years to give me the recipe for his Souvlaki sauce. He never gave in. I flew to Montreal and paid a visit just to see Angelo and have some pizza like the old days with him, and even knowing I lived in BC, he still wouldn't give me that dam recipe for his secret sauce. I ended up buying an entire empty 2Ltr Pepsi bottle full of that sauce and brining it back to BC with me on the flight, securely packed in a back so as to not lose a drop. Again, thank you for the many, many years of great customer service, great food, providing my wife and an awesome place to go for date nights. It's a generous size which I couldn't finish but was able to get packed to go. I expected a variety of veggies but regardless it was really really good. I ordered it for the pesto sauce which was so tasty. There was a great balance of the pesto and marinara sauce. I did find the dough to be on the drier side and also very thin. They have evening specials; one of which the pizzas are for $10 but are on the smaller end. The service was great, the ambience was very good and so was the food. There's a coat stand which I think is very considerate of restos to add during winter. It's not the best pizza I've tried but I had such a good time that I'd go back for another experience.
