I visited BEVO on a Tuesday afternoon in early August. The streets of old Montreal were bustling and there was a line to get seated. I didn't have to wait long because I was alone. I asked to be seated outside and was shown to my table in less than 7 minutes. I ordered the Parma in Bianco. It tasted fresh and was very enjoyable. There was a ton of Arugula on it, but... I survived. There was also a lot of prosciutto too. It was a really tasty. The ambiance was nice. Even though there were people bustling about outside of the restaurant boundaries, I felt like the vibe was really relaxed and calm. The location is great - especially if you're a tourist. The prices are reasonable. Service was good. No complaints. read more

We were looking for a restaurant to celebrate my older daughter's birthday for a large group. This place was recommended by a family member. I had researched it beforehand, and with all the excellent reviews and its prime location, I booked a table for 8. Let me tell you, it is one of THE best restaurants we've dined at here in Montreal. Location: It is nestled on the heart of Old Montreal- one of the prettiest parts of the city. Parking spots are found on the street- but be careful as this touristy part is notorious for giving out tickets. The best is to park in the science center garage close by - it's a bit pricy for $35 to park but you will not lose patience scavenging for a spot! The walk is also nice too. The service: We immediately were greeted by a hostess and seated at our table. We had a friendly waiter who provided great suggestions and pairings. He made sure to check on us through our dinner which we really appreciated. Food: Now the best part... the food was delicious!! We had a few appetizers to start: crispy calamari, arancini and a Caesar salad. They pride on their pizza being "authentic" Italian and after taking one bite, you can say yes it is! The crust is cooked to perfection, and they have many selection- we chose a classic margarita for the kids - and salame for the adults. Both were gobbled up quickly! Finally, we had said it was for a birthday celebration. And they brought out two beautiful dessert pizzas!!! I've NEVER tried anything like that before. They were absolutely delicious. Not only did we get one, but TWO which was more then enough for each member in our group to have one (and in my kids case, two or three haha). It was a major highlight to the night! So I definitely recommend coming here to celebrate special occasions as it will leave a memorable mark for you and each guest. I will definitely be back again soon!!! read more

We got five pizza and three salads, through ubereat. The quality of food was extremely low and disappointing! This is an upscale pizzaria but the quality of pizza was lower than gas station slices. The salad was not fresh at all. It was clear they sent us salad left over of past days. Considering the high price, i am extremely disappointed with BEVO. Maybe their dine-in quality is much better and is the reason behind their name, but the delivered food was super low quality. read more

We so enjoyed our dinner here. The pizza was comparable wood fired pizza that we can find in California at the Italian restaurants popping up all over in the last decade or so. Great crust and tasty not too sweet tomato sauce base. The calamari we had to start was some of the freshest we have had. Salad was amazing and so was the chicken Parmesan. I love the look of the restaurant inside. It was so cozy and inviting with the stone walls. Service was perfect. Just attentive enough and not rushed. We ordered the mushroom truffle risotto and the mushroom and chicken pizza. The risotto was good: rich, creamy. The pizza, however, was just okay. It wasn't terrible, but it didn't really stand out. It's in a very cool hip area of old town and the people watching was phenomenal! And the best part was that we were right across the street from the cloakroom so we had our drinks and waited for the speakeasies to call us meanwhile. Randomly stopped in to this place with my family as we were walking around old town. A very hip vibe that would be good for both a date and families. This place was the first place we tried in MTL and I was initially concerned about a possible language issue, but the waiter put us at ease and was kind and patient. It is priced like a more upscale restaurant, but I would consider the food to be generic and of low to mid quality. My partner wanted extra cheese on their pizza, and we were charged $10 for this as an add on. The pizza itself was already $28. When the pizza arrived it was palatable but nothing exceptional and the extra cheese seemed to be no different than the other pizza we got. I was there for the 2025 New Year's Eve party and we had the New Year's Eve menu. It was quite good. However, for the 2026 New Year's Eve party it was a disappointment. My girlfriend had the Risotto Al Frutti Di Mare. Although it was good we found the dish to be too expensive at $43 for the quantity that was given. Small portion of risotto, 2 pieces of calamari, 2 pieces of shrimp and 2 pieces of scallops. I know that seafood is more expensive, however, for the price of the dish I was expecting more. Grabbed a quick lunch at this place across from our hotel. Everyone we walked by it was busy so we figured it had to be good and we were correct. The outside seating allowed us to enjoy lunch while watching those walking by. We had meatballs which was in a nice sweet and salty taste. The pizza was thin crust -cooked but not burnt. The pepperoni was actually just spiced nice. Only a few bugs (since we were eating outside) distracted us from giving this a five. Not the restaurants fault but it did impact our overall rating. Date of visit: June 13, 2023 The restaurants in this charming part of Montreal are a mix of fun and tasty eateries mixed in with some tourist traps so I leaned heavily on Yelp to ensure that I didn't get snookered like in Paris! And Yelp for the win here! Not only could I make a reservation to ensure that we weren't waiting an hour for a table, but it was a great experience all around. Our server was friendly and efficient, and the joint had ambiance and charm to spare. The pizzas we could see around us looked tasty though given the price, we decided that sharing two pizzas between the four of us was the smart move, and it paid off. We both had the salame (pepperoni) pizza and it was quite tasty. The menu warns that it is spicy and there was a bit of a kick; not overpowering or kill your mouth, but definitely a decent burn so be wary if you have no tolerance for spice. Sharing the pizza also helped us save room for the dessert pizza, which is the tasty dough topped with Nutella and powdered sugar. It was so good that I failed to even get a picture of it. Here was the only flaw in the meal; there was a mix-up with the kitchen and it took about a half hour to get the pizza. Our waitress was gracious and comped it, which we appreciated. Should you find yourself in the area, definitely give BEVO a try! read more

It's a bit steep on the pricing of a pizza but it was never a disappointment in its taste! The service was also quick and fast the pies can keep coming inn a good timing. The drinks a bit over iced limiting its actual drink portion. The vibe brings come chill at a bar. But it does invite family on one section and chill on the other side. Stopped by for lunch during our walk in the Old Montreal. The interior of the restaurant is really nice with 2 floors to seat plenty of guests. We ordered two pizzas and seafood pasta. The pizzas were good and tasty but I was a bit disappointed with the pasta considering it was the priciest of all. Also the service we received was a bit on the cold side. The table next to us had a different person serving them and she seemed way more chatty and friendly. It kind of stuck out when we were dining at other places during our trip. After that the goat cheese and sun dried tomato. Fig and arugula salad was very good as well, although there was a grand total of four fig pieces in the whole salad. Come on guys - we want ample figs on a fig salad. Burrata crostinis were not worth their price; good but lacked salt. Still nice atmosphere. They aren't friendly to parties of 1. They won't allow you to make a reservation and your only seating option is at the bar, which offers uncomfortable backless stools. What a nice spot!! We stopped here for dinner and we're glad we did. It was so nice and delicious. We ordered a bottle of white wine along with some tasty entrees. I got the seafood linguini which was sooo yummy, and hubby got the mushroom ravioli which was also amazing. We ended with the apple cheesecake which was unique and good. This pizza spot is in a very accessible location near the Old Port. The restaurant has two floors so there's plenty of seating. Apparently there's live DJs too, it's a very hip environment - almost reminds me of a day club. I got two entrees to share here - the pizza margarita and the gnocchi Bolognese. The pizza was just okay. The crust was a little bit thick for my preference and it was light on the cheese so for $21 it's a bit overpriced. The Gnocchi Bolognese is really good, texture of the pasta was great and I really liked the sauce. It did cost $25 though!
