The building has a strong automotive history from being a Ford Dealership, a Service Garage, and an Auto Parts store, and today operates as a vendor mall. They have what looked like to be at least 20 or so vendors operating booths in this store. Each carries different things from, clothes, to books, toys, decor, purses/bags, cards, yard art, cooking utensils, and more. The selection is largely geared towards tourists, but locals will find items here as well. It appeared all items were new, so don't mistake this for like an antique mall or craft/artist mall. They items in here are pretty much more widely available, which takes some uniqueness away from the place. Pricing varied but they had items that matched almost all price points. Overall this place is worth a visit and with the variety of items, most can find something here either for themselves or for a gift. It is an easy visit right on Main street and only has two aisles so it won't take a long time to see everything they are offering.

We typically go to Lush but I had seen this business going in a few months ago and I wanted to see if they were open yet and try them first with Lush bring our back up. I'm glad we went to Buff city first as they were open and fully stocked. The staff was extremely friendly, very helpful, and offered some coffee beans to help my daughter to stop sneezing (she was being a bit overzealous with deeply smelling everything haha). My kids are young so we were able to distract one while the other shopped but what made it cool was they were making the products out front where you can see and interact. One was working on putting a whipped soap or lotion in a container and another had a kitchen aid mixing bowl and was putting ingredients into the bowl, this made it fun for not only the kids but my husband and myself found it interesting as well. I always love an open kitchen, and this is basically an open kitchen for soaps and lotions, it's very cool. The bath bombs smell great. I did directly compare these with Lush and this is my thoughts on the bath bombs directly compared to lush are as followed: Lush bath bombs do lots of colors and "big shows" as they break down they typically bubble so much they float and often different types of bubbles to move them in a specific pattern such as in a circle or a rocket that moves around the tub like it has rocket boosters. Buff Citys bath bombs, although very nice sink in the tub, the colors they leave are more natural and more of a milky/chalky residue vs bright blue or other vivid colors like lush. Buff city's bath bombs do not move around the tub and they are no as interesting as far as shapes go. Lush and Buff City seem to put oil on the bath bombs and leave your skin feeling moisturized and soft. I like both companies bath bombs for different reasons, at lush you get more entertainment with your bath, the dents are very strong, and the colors and shapes are interesting but the bath bombs are $7-$10. Buff City has excellent employees, a fun open kitchen for kids to watch products getting main and most things in the store are $7-$8 . I'll continue to shop at both and look forward to see if Buff City starts adding some floating bombs with more vivid colors for kiddos.

The staff was very attentive, and my gift was carefully wrapped in tissue paper and placed in one of their nice paper bags. I didn't change out the bag/tissue paper because they did such a nice job. They have a great selection of the Nora Flemming minis, stoneware, etc. Master of fact, I was just there this week purchasing more of the Nora Flemming stuff for another friend's birthday. They also have a candlemaking class and I definitely plan to check that out and plan a girl's event with my friends. So glad I found this gem of a store and can't wait to go back!

First, their shopping cart hasn't worked properly since they made some updates last year. When I try to place an order it says make address is incorrect (it's not). When I emailed customer service they acted like it was only happening to me. But when I called to place my order, they informed me it was happening to a lot of people and that customer service was lying to me. Sorry but I don't shop with liars and those I can't trust. And I don't want to have to call every time I need an order. I often order at night...on weekends...etc. Plus I want to verify that my order is correct myself and not rely on someone else. I've ordered glass from them, but when I do, it's never bubble wrapped. I've spoken with customer service and the assured me they would be more careful with shipping glass (lying, liars gonna keep lying). Last time I ordered glass it came in a giant box with 1 loose sheet of paper inside. That type of packaging will cause MORE damage because it allows the interior box with glass to rattle around. So half of the wrong size candle vessels (yes wrong size because I had to place my order over the phone instead of via website) was broken. I've discussed with customer service that it's really dangerous to ship glass incorrectly because then your customers are forced to handle broken glass. When I emailed them to notify of the damage, they didn't email me back. I've emailed 3 times but haven't been emailed back so now I have to file a chargeback. In the past, when I've emailed customer service I have received phone calls?? Which is crazy. I'm in an out of meetings all day. I don't have time for your call - that's why I emailed. If a customer emails you - email them back. If a customer calls you answer the phone. DUH. But it's clear that their customer service is just full of lying liars and this company is not professional.
