Absolutely Horrible. Horrible service. Servers are awkward and rude. Not friendly in any manner. We waited 20mins before anyone came to our table. We waited an hour for our food. When it arrived it was incorrect and cold. I didn't finish mine, nor did my kids. The energy was so negative and unpleasant. I will NEVER recommend anyone to dine there. I paid $74 for burnt, cold incorrect food. With no apology. As well, this isn't real Mexican food. All I'm saying is, there are better places. Better quality, better service, better environment and much better food. read more

The food at this place is AMAZING! The green chile is simply exceptional (high praise since I'm from New Mexico). I ordered extra green chile just so I could slather it all over my machaca burrito. And the salsa! Delicious! We ordered a second bowl of it and slurped it all down. My husband, who is a chile relleno snob said his was the best he'd had in years. We all sampled his refried beans, which were so rich, delicious & creamy. And my friend gave rave reviews about her taco salad. It had tons of meat. Also good service. Absolute worst Mexican food I've ever had in my life! Stringy Chili Rejenno, virtually uncuttable! Horrible sauce on it as well! The shredded beef on the tostada was extremely fatty, and tasted like ass! My daughters bean and cheese burrito was 95% bean, with maybe two or three shreds of cheese on it. Made both of us sick, and we left 2/3 of the food on the plates. I mentioned to them that everything was terrible, and they gave me... oh yeah - ZERO dollars off the bill. My first time to the area so had to try a local establishment. Our waiter was fantastic - so friendly, attentive and prompt. (I think his name was Arthur.) The chips weren't my preference, but I don't judge a mexican food by chips alone. The salsa was decent and the margaritas were tasty and packed a kick. I had the chicken taquitos, which came with rice and beans. Everything was good. Looking forward to going back to try something else from the menu! read more

There is not much choice for restaurants in Rocky Ford, Colorado. Mission Deli, unfortunately, is one of the better places to eat. They have great green chili and it has always been our preference for Mexican food here. But after last night, we are not returning (and we are local). We had family come to town and wanted to treat them to a delicious dinner. I made sure to call ahead for a reserved table, and per the young lady on the phone, that would be no problem. They are known for not having the fastest nor friendliest service around, so I figured if we called ahead (at 1 pm), then that would be ok. Well, when we arrived (at 5:45pm), the place was busy and there was no table ready. When I walked up to the counter to ask, I saw my "reservation" taped to the register. Every single waitress that I asked about our table being ready either ignored me (actually put their head down and walked off) or was overly rude and denied ever knowing about our reservation. We just gritted our teeth and asked them to please clean off a table so we could still eat there. One waitress started to do so, then stopped and walked off. At that point my husband approached the waitresses and got nothing but denial as to our reservation that did not exist (even though it was taped to the register in plain sight) or he was given excuses as to how they were so busy, they didn't have time to get our table ready. We told them to forget it, that they had lost our business forever, and that we would be letting everyone we know about their terrible restaurant. We will be calling the owner to advise him of his horrible wait staff as well. We ended up down the road at Fiesta, where we were able to get dinner without the attitude. Food is mediocre, and staff is always slow and not very attentive. Usually have to order two drinks to begin with as they won't be refilled by the time your food arrives. Also, BE CAUTIOUS if using a credit/debit card to pay. On two separate occasions, we have been charged once for the total amount and again for the total amount + tip. Then, we have to file paperwork with our bank to request a charge back and Mission Deli always fights it, saying they were authorized to do both charges. It's such a headache. Eat somewhere else if you can, but if you do eat there, I advise you to use CASH! read more

Their food is great and the evening staff is up to par how ever at lunch the young waitress was not very professional thinks too much of herself and has much to learn. The food makes up for this and I highly recommend this restaurant. read more
