I had my doubts about this place, but my parents have gotten their Karaoke machine and their portable DVD fixed here before. I thought they wouldn't be capable of fixing my laptop (it had network issues). So I went there a few days ago. I explained the situation, and they typed it up. They would need to hold it for a day or so - I was uncertain but allowed them to keep it overnight. Skipping ahead. I called - there was no answer. I called the next day, and the female receptionist answered and said they would get back the next day. Next day came, and they finally answered but I didn't pick up. I tried to call back, they did not answer. By night time (around 6pm) they answered and said they would be open until 7PM. Okay, the complaint I have about this place is them getting back to you via the telephone. I would suggest that the place - at least - have their hours in their Voice Mail. (And yes, as someone else said - the place is unbelievably cluttered. But it is a small shop, so it's understandable). The good place about this place is that they can fix your electronics. Mine took two days with a guarantee. They found the problem, resolved it along with other problems they came across, all for a very low price of $120. Other places would probably have charged you for triple that rate, and for a longer period of time. This electronic repair shop always gets the job done right. I have a cash register that got burn out and got repair for a very good price. I have my computer repair their also and is very happy with their work. You might have to be patient as they are very busy. I would try TV service if I need it in the future. After using this place some more I have updated to five stars. I had my TV finally fixed here and it worked great. read more

I took my Pioneer turntable in to have the arm lifter motor repaired in November 2021. Price quoted was $195, which seemed expensive, but I went ahead and had them fix it. When I got it back (and paid the fee) and plugged it in, there was an audible hum coming from the motor. When I called them back, they said that play arm motor needed to be replace also, and wanted another $195 to fix it. I told them the hum wasn't there before, they said they could disconnect the motor and I could operate the arm manually, which is what I asked them to do. I returned the turntable to them on December 6, 2021. I never heard from them and left messages on their store number (650-757-7600). I got a call back from them in late January saying the unit wasn't fixed yet and they had been out of the country. They would call me when it was ready. Since then, I have left multiple messages and called multiple times, and they never answer their phone. So, they have basically stolen my turntable. Don't do business with these people if you ever want to see your equipment again. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Brought in flat screen TV, in need of a new part. Gave the guy a deposit and he said he would order the part and call me in a week. Called each week for 5 consecutive weeks and each time I was told "It will be done in 1 more week." On the last phone call, the person who answered rudely told me that they "didn't even work there" after I inquired about the status. I'm picking up the TV today. Don't waste your time with these shady run-arounders. read more

DON'T take anything here unless you want to wait two months to get it back, on june 28th I brought my xbox360 in to have the DVD reader replaced, they told me two weeks it would be done, I waited and on the third week called and they told me the motherboard was bad and I would cost more, I said forget it and that I would pick it up later in the day since I was at work, they were not open when I got there and rarely are ever open, I got it back yesterday and looked at it and it looked like they pried it open with a screw driver and left a bunch of marks on the back, this place should just close down. read more

I had a difficult time in deciding to get my TV repaired with Mission Electronics after reading a poor review. I took a chance with Tim, and he did a great job with my TV. Tim provided a home service to diagnose, and gave me a decent estimate. It took him less than two weeks to fix it just in time for me to watch NBA game 5. Michelle, the secretary has been excellent in providing me update with the repair. My Samsung TV looks awesome. I highly recommend Tim. read more

Tim the owner saved a couple of my electronics a while back and saved me money.. he fixed my ecu for my car he fixed my g4's adapter and a tv before for a fraction of the price compared to buying new. The only downside is that it takes him a while to get back to you, but overall, he is a big help. I just dont like the price increase thats going on now, i guess its because of the economy. read more

After 2 years this place still has my uncle's stereo receiver and have not contacted me once. About 2 years ago, I came here to get my uncle's stereo receiver repaired and they told me that it would take a while because a special part needed to be ordered. After a few months (with my busy life) I finally had time to stop by. I came by and they told me they still didn't have the parts but they would get on it. So they have me a crappy loaner because I had complained. Until now they still have not followed up or whatsoever. These guys are dishonest and has no type of customer service. I'm not even sure if it's worth my time to come back here. Don't get screwed people! read more

The first time my dad dropped off a TV to get fix they said the power supply or something that keeps it on has died out, and they "fixed" it in about two weeks. When we got home we plugged in the TV and after an hour. The same problem occurred! It just shuts off. So we are like wth, they didn't even do anything. So now we had to take it down again. Which is pretty difficult cause it's a pretty heavy TV and we brought it there, but hopefully its in the interval of the warranty. Who cares though, we've waited months. Anyways, the second time around we dropped it off and said they would get it done. Thought they would fixed it with ease but after a weeks of waiting we checked on it and they said they needed a part. So they took there time and ordered it. After about a month they said they're still waiiting on a part. Wth? Does it take that long? Finally last week they said "We got the part and I should be done this week." and they'd call. But they didn't so I'm assuming it isn't done. I have yet to follow up but I am very frustrated. I HIGHLY discourage this place. They took their sweet time and when I walk in I always notice them chillin in the back doing nothing.We've waited atleast 2-4 months. Again emphasis on "I discourage this place." Thanks. read more

Hate to badmouth, but, my boyfriend and I both have to give Mission electronic Repair two thumbs down. I should have known when I walked into the building and the place is in chaotic disarray with broken electronic equipment taking up every inch of space, with little evident organization. I also should have walked out when the guy with the electric fan walked in and said "This was working fine the first week after I picked it up from you guys..."... Maybe I was being lazy? They called me back telling me my DVD player was fixed (within 3 days - yes!), and I went all the way down to pick it up, and when I arrived - it was STILL BROKEN! I patiently waited for 30 minutes while they tried to fix it on the spot. :( Anyway, they told me they would call me on Friday, which they didn't, and I had to keep calling over the course of a week and a 1/2 - getting the same answer "We have to order a part". Anyway after 2 weeks, we said - just keep the DVD player. Never going back. read more

An unbelievably cluttered office. I left my VCR there for repair. They promised they would call when it was ready, they thought maybe four days. After a week (no call) I went in and they needed more time, but would call. After another week (no call), I went in and they said it wasn't ready. After yet another week (still no call, I went in and was told the VCR worked perfectly. Of course, it didn't. My Topnotch karaoke system was not really working correctly. It was working but sometimes it says "disc error". I had Mission electronics fix it. It took them 1 month and they couldnt fix it. I got it back and tried it. Now the machine cant read disc. They totally destroyed my topnotch karaike system. I do not recommend this repair shop for any of your repair needs. They asked me what am i going to do with my machine meaning that they would like to keep it so they can sell it again. read more

Just like the others who gave 1 or would have prefered 0 star, I also had bad experience with this shop. They were originally paid for new part for a smart LED TV's motherboard to replaced but no wonder it took so long because after asking for the broken part back which I got upon request, they tried to repair it instead. They were also paid for a "fan"that was supposed to cool down the motherboard but never saw the fan installed. I was told a reason that the manufacturer advised them it was unnecessary to have the fan because it was originally not needed. I was "NOT fully" refunded for the fan. It left a question "was there ever a fan in the first place for them to charged me"? At the end when I finally got my tv back, I was told he could not find the fan to show me. It was too much trouble than it already had to wait than for me to be looking for a fan than may not have exist. Lastly, If I may suggest to the reviewers who have unsatisfactory experience from repair shops like this, get the parts back that are being replaced and allow, set specific time for the repair or replacement which ever is more convenient to you rather than to the repair shops.
