I think that's fair considering the place smells and people usually bring in a lot of cans. I didn't have a lot of cans so after I separated them into these trays the employee was able to quickly count them and hand me a receipt. I then scanned the receipt at another station and my money was automatically dispensed. There is a sink inside but there is no soap. There is hand sanitizer and paper towels, however. Im not sure if RR provides disposable gloves, so it's best to bring your own just in case.

After you unload get back on the scale and write that one down. On your way out, stop off at the office and show them the numbers. They charge by the pound, but it's pretty reasonable. The most I've ever paid for a full, heavy load of branches, logs, grass etc. was under $10. Not bad. They take just about anything that is compostable including larger chunks of wood, grass, leaves, sod, etc... The mulch that they sell is great.

I was surprised that the place was super empty on a Saturday. I was expecting more people. It was definitely awesome for us to do spring clean up together. The bottle depot is located at a convenient location for us. Well... walking distance. Yes we walked over there with our bottles and cans. It's a bottle depot and I have been to so many..... so the expectation is no different than the other bottle depots that I have been to. I liked that this one is own by Encorp. So they don't charge recycle fee and would get paid the full amount for the cans and bottles that we paid for when we bought the drinks. Recycling = good for the environment (happy face).
