NBOA, namely Amy, offered one of its trailers to me and my wife during the major freeze in 2019…read more We had just moved to New Braunfels and were living in our RV as we looked to purchase land and build a home. Our RV had a major structural problem and would have to go to the factory in IL of 2-3 months. NBOA's willingness to rent in the off season and possibly reduce revenue in the coming months as a result of the arrangement spoke volumes about NBOA's commitment to do what is best for its clients. It also gave us the assurance that we would be in good hands if ever we were to own multiple RVs and rent them through NBOA. Following the return of our RV, we choose to purchase an additional RV and began to rent it through NBOA in August 2020 and continued to do so through August 2023 when we chose to move out of state to help aging family members. Throughout the three plus years of working with and befriending Amy and her associates/family, we experienced some of the best customer service and professionalism we had ever encountered. Upon our return to Central Texas is the coming years, we plan to join forces with NBOA again and work in tandem to provide top end services to its clients.

We had a great time traveling to see family and were able to host family over for cards and games. The RV was meticulous and came equipped with everything we requested. This was a tester for our family, we were unsure if we wanted to buy an RV this year or not. Well, these guys made it so easy we will be RV more often, but why buy when these guys make it a breeze. No need to store, clean, maintain or carry insurance not to mention the cost. We will just lease it from these guys. Thanks so much for making a long road trip very pleasant. It might be good to note that we spent about a week trying to book with two other companies, who would just not respond. Their websites said they would reply within 24 hours. The only response we ever got from one is they charged our credit card $3500.00 without confirming the reservation. Absolutely a nightmare, you can call me directly if you want names, I am not willing to post on a public site. Oh, and by the way, we were leaving on Thursday and Tuesday is when we finally reached out to American Dream Vacation. We put in an online request and within 30 minutes we had received a text letting us know the RV we were inquiring about was already taken. But sent us two other options within that next text. He asked that we call so we could get things squared away and it was like 9 pm or so. We did secure a Beautiful RV and the rest is smooth sailing. David & Kelly Thate 512-750-5777

Two of the windows on the RV literally fell onto the roadway which we were traveling. They tried to blame us for the windows falling out!!! WTF Below is the full list of issues we had with the RV: - When we left Austin the glass window fell out on bedroom window onto the roadway - On our way back to Austin, we lost a second window on the dining slide out onto the roadway - Air conditioner not working in main room, E4 error code - 24/7 support not available, voicemail box full. - Roadside assistance said they couldn't help us with any of the problems - 7' broken wood board on slideout, fell and almost hit daughter in the head - The gauge on the freshwater tank doesn't work so can't tell if there's any water or not. Only discovered on the 3rd day the tank was full of water - Water fill hose leaking at connection, spraying water all over. We couldn't use the camp site water because of issue. - Hot water doesn't work on kitchen faucet - Back up camera not working - Various windows/mechanisms broken and taped on outside with shipping tape - Broken screen door handle - No key for outside storage locks - Leg on Queen bed is loose/broken - Door on bedroom doesn't stay closed or latch - Window shade in bedroom is broken - Right rear view mirror very loose - Kitchen drawers won't stay set - Slide out panel controls are reverse - Check engine light was on the whole trip. I called immediately after picking up the RV and was told it had to do with the catalytic converter

Here's why you may consider not hiring this company. Review…read moreof Texas Country RV, 16415 S Access Rd, Canyon Lake, Tx 78133, Owner listed as Michelle Ruff. Joe Ruff was our Contact. In April we contacted Texas Country RV to conduct an inspection and work on our RV to makeready it for a 9-hour haul to a new location. It needed new tires put on, new bearings, possible new brakes, 2 new ac units and to have the roof resealed and some soft spots looked into where we had some leaks. Joe Ruff did the initial consultation, then brought his son Jacob and another man out to perform the work. 3 days later he came out, inspected, and we paid the bill in full. 7 hours into the move the roof began to peel off. By the time we got to our location 20% of it was gone and we found they had not even performed the work we paid for on 1 of the A/C's. We called on 4/24, sent videos, pictures and got no response other than a text from his son saying Joe would call in the morning. We heard NOTHING. Texted on the 25th, NOTHING. Called on the 28th, spoke to the office and still nothing. Sent an email requesting a refund of the roof work and NOTHING. We've been ghosted for 21 days. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I will be filing a small claim for the $1400 on the shotty work they performed and the cost of the new roof seal in small claims court. He had the opportunity to make this right. Here is a copy of part of the email request, sent on 5/5/25. "Joe - I have given you plenty of opportunity to return phone messages, voicemails and text messages. This is regarding the work performed on our 2016 Crossroads Redwood...specifically the roof reseal work that was not done properly in some areas and incomplete in other areas. The roof reseal was not done properly at the front seam allowing the roof membrane to separate from the roof during transport and expose the wooden roof components. In addition the original problem that you pointed out...the poor sealing along the front AC unit was never addressed. The original old and ineffective seal is still in place. As a result we will need to hire a local (New Mexico) facility to complete these repairs. In the interim, we have placed a temporary tarp over the damaged area to try to prevent further damage from occurring." I would like to just let people know if they need RV work, this may not be the company to hire.

We had decided to replace our sofa with a double recliner, wanted to replace the bathroom vent/fan with a unit that operates with a remote control, and wanted to upgrade our suspension (to drive better on windy days). TXCRV came out to our site to do measurements and look at what we wanted to do; advised me on their suggestions; and worked with our schedule to get us in before we left moved on. When supply chain issues delayed the parts we needed and we ended up having to stay over a couple of days, they put all their techs on the job, to reduce a 2-day project to a single day. They were pleasant, respectful, and competent. I never felt that they were being less than honest and transparent with me. I would highly recommend giving Joe a call at TX Country RV. They have a shop, or a mobile tech. They also do sales and rentals (Cruise America). If I am ever back in the Texas Hill Country, they will be my go-to service shop.
