The park was very well maintained and pleasant, probably why it was almost full. Beautiful trees throughout and my coach's roof was hitting a couple small limbs and when I spoke with the front desk, they trimmed them back that day. I would definitely come back. read more

Large campground, easy to get in and out and drive into San Antonio. Bath house is at the very front beside the office-too far away from most of the camp sites. It looked like a lot of long term campers, which is fine, however, their sites were piled up with belongings and kind of trashy looking. Overall it was a decent campground. read more

Stayed for a weekend for an event. We had a very late arrival. The facility/staff was very accommodating and left all the information needed for arrival and setup at the office for us. The weekend went without a glitch. The site was very nice. We have a Toyhauler, and our spot was a back in, which allowed us to enjoy the view of the pond and fountain from our deck with our morning coffee. Nice RV site. If the opportunity presented itself again, we would definitely consider staying again. But, will definitely recommend this location. read more

Awesome place! The one thing me and my brother liked was that there was free popcorn all day in the rec room so when we were bored we would just go and get some. Until we didn't realize there was two workers in there and we just walked in and they practically just kicked us out!! They said you guys can't come in here with out an adult, then we never went back in there because there was always so many people in there. The only things we did like was that everything was concrete and so they let us drive our electric scooters unlike most RV Resorts. The cutest thing there was the stray cats! There was this one she was all white with a little brown tail and a big brown spot on her side and SHE WAS SO SOFT!!! She didn't have fleas or worms and she was really clean and super friendly because she just ran right over to me my brother and mom and let us hold her and pet her and when we where going in our motor home she literally flew in. It took us a few minutes to get her back outside and then we told her to go home to her family. And the next day she came back with a friend (another stray cat) and we tried petting him and he just hissed and scratched us and you could tell he just wanted her. And so we where about to leave and we had to walk our dogs so when we started to walk them the cats followed and could really tell she just wanted him to get away from her. And so to help her we were calling her (we just said come here kitty, kitty) and she started to run to us and then he pronounced on her and when we got him to go away we took her back to our motor home and she was cold so we just raped her up in a towel and she fell asleep when she was asleep me and my mom called the office and asked if anyone was missing a cat that they knew about and we described her and the guy said she was a stray and she's been there for a while. So if you go there and see her go pet her she is friendly and VERY lovable! read more

This park is very well kept, very clean and the management team is a wonderful couple. The amenities are awesome! Beautiful outdoor pavilions with full outdoor chef's kitchens, including stove, refrigerator and sinks, with outdoor fire pit and chairs! The pool is one you'd find at a high class resort. The laundry facilities are clean but very pricey. The park is within driving distance to many attractions! Now for the cons; one dog park is a large unmowed/unkept field, bushes and weeds 2 ft tall, there is no way I could let my dogs in. The other dog park is along the dry canal, semi-mowed. It was not useable for us. The park has many long term residents, which is not usually an issue but there were many with very old RVs, run down, duct taped up, a/c units hanging out the windows, old run down vehicles, etc. Vehicles were parked everywhere. Many long term residents had lots of stuff stacked around their rv. It just made it look junky. The sites are also very small with very small grass areas. For the most part this park is great but I'm not sure we'd stay here again! read more

Now this is a real resort! With a gorgeous pool and jacuzzi upgraded gym amenities and a very romantic lake that you can catch and release huge fish in. The grills and public fire pits , the swings and smoke areas are so tranquil! We got to take some really pretty pictures and met some full time stayers who offered their hospitality to us! I got to make some tamales on the public cooking areas that were great! This would be dope for a lot of younger people but very family friendly too! read more

This rv park is nothing but a lie, it looks amazing and the management talk very police on the phone but all this place wants is your money. I got kicked out due to "police activity". Due to my identity being stolen including my social and Drivers license, I called the cops to come make a report, the cops are even surprised that there is in fact no security whatsoever at this rv park, there is four cameras at this park. Two in the gate, and two at the office, nowhere else. What am I supposed to do if something happens that I need police? Tell the non existent security guard? The other night we just had two guys in all black walking around behind the rv's in all black(VERY CREEPY). I almost shot one of them because they came close to my rv. I will not be returning, I know me and a few more of the guests are leaving this rv park due to poor management and the management (Patty and Allen) are rude as hell. They only want your money, if you don't own a Tesla and are over 50 years of age, the management will find a reason to kick you out, they might even kick you out if you have a run down car. This is sad, I would give this place a 1/4 star if I could. Very disappointing. Kiss my ass. read more

The only reason this park did not get a one star is that it has potential. However, weak management is the problem. They set and enforce the rules to maintain the standard. When they mix long term low rent tenants with higher level Rv's there are going to be problems. Many of the long tenants have old worn out RVs and way too much personal junk outside such as plants, refrigerators and tents. In addition, there are several dog parks but the long term tenants allow their animals to relieve themselves any where they like which makes walking along the lake a bit problematic. Also, the number of smoker which you would associate with less expensive RVs is a lot and make you outdoor experience not very nice. The Management is non responsive and seem put off and rude when these issues are pointed out. Time for a Management change for sure. read more

I would give this RV Park 10 Stars if I could. Everything is immaculate. The pool area was beautifully landscaped had a covered area for shade. Just outside the pool area was a bar setup with ice machine and a refrigerator to keep your lunches or cold drinks while swimming and two gas grills. Nice game room, internet room. Gazebos with fire pits and rocking chairs all around the little man made lake. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. Just a great place to stay we'll always make this our go to place in San Antonio. read more

We came to San Antonio to see our nephew graduate from the Lackland Air base and decided to stay at Greenlake RV. This is a new RV park with great friendly staff who go out of their way to help there guests! The park is beautiful, great pool and hot tube. Bathrooms and showers kept clean at all times and the cost very reasonable for all pockets. We will come back the next time we go camping! read more

Beautiful, peaceful and perfect! Small spaces for campers and RV's but we adapted. The kids had a great time fishing and swimming, and the community areas with fire pits and grills were the icing on the cake. Even with the rain that dampened our stay, we still had an amazing time here. read more

Stopped at Greenlake RV Resort recently and was so impressed with everything they had to offer! The managers, Allen & Patty, were able to make me feel like I was completely at home and had known them for years with their hospitality! The whole resort was always clean... even the restrooms & shower areas. The dog bath area was a great amenity too... we were so happy to be able to bath our dog without the mess we usually have otherwise! Great park and it was clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. The problem I have with the park is there were many permanent trailers there with oil rig workers and truck drivers staying there 12 months a year. When I called there and asked was told it was a RV Resort not an RV Park. This was not a resort. We stayed there month and listened to dogs barking all the time we were there. I would not return there for more than a week stay. read more

Pool is not heated the power lines are too close the staff is friendly sometimes mostly rude the hot tub smells of straight bleach that burns the eyes. The web said the pool would be heated. When weather turned they sent out email saying they would not heat it. The workout room is in with pool table and common room so no privacy. It contains 2 treadmills and I think 2 elliptical machines. 1 set of metal 10 pound weights and a machine that is hard to maneuver in the small tight corner. The reason I picked this establishment was for the workout room and heated pool. The row we parked on is less than 5 feet from HUGE power lines. I did not know at the time how hazardous that was to your health. I asked if they would call me when a pull through became available they said that would that's been 2 weeks ago. There is a park a few miles away that has larger sites and is $200. Less A month. (The reviews are not good there but at least your not lied to. Beware my friends please if at all possible stay somewhere else. read more

This RV Park is mostly all full timers. The management dies not care how old your RV is and does not mind the residents having refrigerators, piled up junk, junk cars or trucks sitting around their RV. They use the refrigerators. Also, they don't want you to park jet skis, boats, in the driveway, but the full timers park what ever they want. Air conditioners have been put in the windows & also they have cut a hole in the side to put in a air conditioner. The dog parks are all dead grass because there are no sprinklers to water. They do have picnic areas that you can use with grills. Looking at the pictures you would never think that you would see the truth when you got to the place. Alan was very friendly every time I would talk to him prior to getting to RV Park. I have been to a lot of RV Parks with full time residents & the rules are always enforced. Very disappointed. Just a warning, this RV resort is not "large" family friendly, they have a max occupancy of 4 people. We have 3 small children and barely squeak by as a "large" family so therefor, we couldn't stay here. Bummer! read more

I think that their website doesn't give enough credit for this place. -very clean- the maintenance staff always seem to be cleaning, spraying stuff on the ground or otherwise doing things. - neighbors- in general the population here are full timers. Very friendly, nice and most importantly takes care of their things. Love this. -safe- gated access with an attendant near the front gate. Neighborhood surrounding seems ok as well. - the wifi brochure here says it won't work with streaming videos but I have been able to do it with very seldom glitches. -1/2 price for the first month! - 15-20min away from lackland and fort sam houston 1/4star off - having to pay for electricity (I get it, it's hot and can't really blame them for charging for running your a/c) - gym is lacking. All brand new equipment but you are working out next to a pool table and the general seating area. ( not a big deal, I realize people don't come here for a full workout) Ok, so I realize this isn't the disney campground so I give this place a 4.75 for temp housing and highly encourage to give it a try! read more

We stayed at Green Lake RV Resort from January through March 2016. This is a nice, fairly new park. Each site is concrete with a picnic table and ample space to set up chairs as well. The sites are pretty close together but we did not run into any problems with noisy neighbors. There is a large laundry room with plenty of washers and dryers. There is a nice, heated pool with a hot tub. There are areas to walk dogs and waste bags are supplied. Most guests are good about cleaning up after their dogs. The monthly rate is very reasonable, and is cheaper than many of the nearby parks. The weekly rate is high. I do not know what the daily rate is. I saw no problem with any of the park staff. They were all very friendly and helpful. read more

I think this park is amazing. It has all the amenities most people could ever dream of! A pool, hot tub, laundry 24/7, exercise room, computer room, a lake for the fishermen, the roads are completely paved and concrete and very smooth for bike riding, walking, etc. Dog parks conveniently located throughout the park, a dog washing station that is to die for and it's free! Free popcorn if you so desire! The connections are fabulous. Internet, cable....I mean, it has it all! The staff is friendly and keep this place pristine. There are grilling stations for use as well. Not just grilling stations more in the way of an outdoor kitchen, covered with anything you could need to make a fabulous meal. It's gated, safe and everyone here is friendly and welcoming. The attendants at check in were very nice and helpful. You can tell that they take care of the place. The campgrounds were gated, with security. They were very clean, and easy to get around. Everything was clearly marked. We arrived late and the map and papers that they left for us gave us all the information we needed. Very happy we stopped here. Note for dog owners, the dog run is not a fenced in area. It's just a gate that leads to the outside. You need to watch your dog. read more

We stayed the weekend of 16 OCT, when we arrived there was a small army of workers doing grounds maintenance, you could tell they take pride in their park. I was looking for a place to stay long term while being stationed in San Antonio and was referred to Green Lake RV Resort after posting a deposit at another park. It was a test run of sorts, after staying one night I called the park that I had previously placed a deposit and cancelled my reservation (I lost my deposit) but that's the choice you make.
