We didn't have reservations, but the place looked OK and the rate for our two rooms were favorable. Both sets of sheets in one room were stained...hard to tell whether it was old blood stains, chocolate or whatever, but it was disgusting. It would have been impossible for the housekeeping person to not have noticed when changing the sheets, if indeed they were changed. In the other room, the smoke detector dangled from the ceiling, showing it to be without a battery. In the shower of one bathroom, it looked to be a line of mold straight across the bottom of the wall. We were told of the complimentary breakfast when we checked in. In the morning, we went to check it out. The outside cover to the juice machine was broke and so we had to manually keep it shut while dispensing juice. Cold cereal was available but no milk to go with it. There was a small cabinet that had two old biscuits and some bread - I guess for toast. Long story short, it was no breakfast at all and we needed to go out for breakfast. Any money that you may save by staying here, you will lose when you have to take yourself out for breakfast the next day. Add to that the lack of cleanliness and safety, I would never stay here again - even if it was for free. The lesson I learned...spend a little more, stay at a franchise hotel where you have some recourse if things are nasty, and having a real complimentary breakfast will save you money in the end. I have never had the free breakfast but I do go in the breakfast room and get coffee, everything always looks very fresh with a nice choice of items to eat.

It was nice to have close parking and 2 doors to come and go. The doors have electric key pads so no worries about locking yourself out. (You do have to lock yourself in, as they don't auto lock ). The area was quiet and pleasant. Being on to Main, there was absolutely no road noise. I tried the float tank and loooved it. It was so incredibly relaxing. A 60 minute meditation float with music and lights. Ahhhh ‍ There's also a meditation room with a massage chair and virtual reality...So. Stinking. Cool. I just got to do a quick test run, but I can imagine the full experience and can't wait to go back for it. Make sure to go to the main house for Bulletproof coffee and visit with the sweet and knowledgeable staff. Christa, the owner is nothing short of incredible and her passion for what she does is evident everywhere. Cannot wait to go back and try everything else. A little slice of heaven on Main Street. It's probably the best stays at a hotel/inn I've ever experienced. It had a charm to it, help was just a few steps away, yet you have your own building to stay in so it was quiet from any other guest. With that said my only con is it's so close to the road that you can hear traffic, but only when some jerk decides to honk his horn. They have spa amenities and flotation therapy which I was unable to try, they also double as a coffe/smoothie shop and have an all natural coffee which is now my favorite coffee! The TVs don't have cable, instead they have a roku which is very convenient since most everybody has a Netflix amazon. So I will definitely be back next year!

My room was clean and the folks were nice but there were no amenities - no continental breakfast, no coffee, no WiFi. Only free parking and color TV. It looks nice from the outside. The owner said he's only had this hotel for a few weeks and improvements are underway. A Google search showed the rate with Hotels.Com and Booking.Com to be $50. We made reservations directly with the hotel and expected to pay about that. I was charged $69 for the night. Hint to other travelers: Use a third-party booking site and there's a donut shop with good coffee a short drive away. If I were in Miami again I'd give Deluxe Inn another try.
