This welcome center was pretty interesting and unique as far as the license plate wall and the tourism center that has information on local attractions and hotel accommodations all throughout Missouri. This was a great stop! Had time to go to the bathroom (beautiful little hall!!) And my son got to run around and play at the park and they even have a great place to take a picture of you are passing though or just want a mission pic ‍ the best part was while in the bathroom there ARE NO PAPER TOWELS. It's better for the environment! Awesome and they have the hand dryers instead right NEXT to where the paper towels use to be... this lady told her two small children"oh my God! Guess there is no paper towels! Just dry your hands on your pants!" Really? What I like about this rest area are all the amazing cool pictures on the walls, which you can see in my pic. It's easy to get in and out of it, so it's definitely one of the most memorable and well-designed rest areas I stopped at. Just a shame it's in Missouri. Just kidding Missouri. read more

A clean, safe and well-maintained facility. Friendly and helpful staff. Lots of Missouri resources by area (pamphlets). Coffee and water out for free use. I've stopped at these types of places before and this one is really clean. read more
