I'm a donut snob. I've eaten artisan hipster donuts in New York City and other foodie meccas. But the chocolate glazed yeast donut I had here was the best donut I've ever eaten. Dense, yeasty, with a dark chocolate flavor in the glaze. This was in the afternoon, too, not first thing in the morning. This place doesn't offer exotic toppings with bacon and all that. Just good, classic donuts. Sandwiches were delicious too. Service was friendly. The young people who work here take pride in the product. I don't blame them! These donuts are exceptional. read more

Been here twice now, ordered the sausage egg and cheese biscuit the first time, and the jalepeno sausage roll the second time. The sausage egg and cheese biscuit was average, but the sausage roll is the best sausage roll I think I've ever had yet. It's actually real sausage and pretty filling. Hidden gem on a sandwich shop. We were visiting from out of town and the locals at the coffee shop downtown recommended Missys. Turkey and chicken salad sandwiches were huge and tasted great. It was a great little hidden gem of a spot that we otherwise would have just driven right past. read more

One of our bosses graciously swung up to Guthrie to deliver some of "the best doughnuts in OK" to our Edmond office. I just finished a maple glazed, and was not disappointed. It was a deliciously soft circle of flavorful dough with a thick sweet maple icing slathered on top. Far better than the flavorless airy doughnut one might think of, too many of these (as in TWO!) would definitely leave me with a tummy ache. When prompted, I will never turn a Missy's Doughnut down. They make their bread fresh and its so soft and warm when it comes out. The service is good and they are super friendly! I had my first apple fritter here and it was delicious!
