I placed an order online in total of $428 for delivery on April 7 at 1am. It said delivery by April 11. On April 7 at 6am, the very first thing I did after I woke up was I chatted with their customer to ask them hold off my package for 2 days while it's still in the warehouse or if they could switch to a pickup order because I would be on vacation with my family that I haven't met for 4 years until April 12. They said "No". They couldn't do anything to stop it. They kept suggesting me having someone to watch the package when I told them already I had no one nearby. They were absolutely a terrible listener. We lived in a townhouse by street and there is no safe spot to put the package at all. I don't know my neighbor or anyone nearby that I could ask to keep the package for me since we just moved there. They said only way I could do is to contact the carrier company myself once it's shipped to ask them to hold it. Okay, fine, once the package was shipped. Status " Awaiting for carrier pickup". It was by TForce Logistics, then I asked Sephora for TForce contact details but when I gave TForce a call, turned out it was TForce Freight which they never ever do delivery for Sephora and they said they have been called a lot from misunderstanding. I was just shocked!! Sephora doesn't know their own people! OMG!! I called again still got a wrong phone number. Anyway, I got TForce correct number eventually but this logistics company is Very bad. They don't know what they're doing. They couldn't pull up the tracking number that Sephora gave. When I asked if they would usually call receivers before delivery or not, they said they wouldn't know until they could pull up the tracking number. They have very low rate on Google. People have bad experience with them. However, Sephora choose to just use the cheapest carrier to save themselves and offer pain to their customers. I was on the phone with Sephora and TForce on my vacation back and forth for more than 4 hours and my request still didn't get done. I was very upset and worried and this matter literally ruined my good time with my family. Sephora third customer service that I called said TForce wouldn't be able to pull up the tracking number until they receive the package from Sephora. I called Sephora again and couldn't hold my tears because I was so worried that my package would get stolen while I was away. The last customer service I spoke with on that day asked me to choose if I wanted a refund or delaying they shipment. I said refund and I would return all the products to the store if it doesn't get lost because I just wanted to get done with this order. She asked me to call back when the status changes to "Delivered" and they would proceed the refund. On April 9 at 6pm, I noticed that the status had been changed to "Picked up by carrier". I thought, okay, now TForce should be able to pull up the tracking number and hold it for me. On April 10, I called Tforce again at 7am to hold it. They said they couldn't because it's already on the way. The only way they could do is to put a note for the driver to read and hold off. Sure enough, my package was delivered at my front door at 8:30am without any phone call from them. I called Sephora according to her instructions and it was picked up by a more senior customer service. I was devastated that they would not be responsible for any loss or stolen package. It's there, then it's there. And there would be no refund. She said no one would promise me that and it was just that they would try to delay the shipment. I tried to explain that I was offered for 2 solutions which was either refund or postponing the shipment. If I knew that there wouldn't be a refund, I would have picked postponing the shipment instead. I asked her if it's my fault and begged for empathy but her response was "Is there anything else I can do for you?". I was just in a Big Big shocked moment. Basically she said that I was lying. I challenge Sephora here to go listen to our conversation and tell me if that customer service used the word "try" or not. It was a FIRM solution she gave to me!! Before excusing someone or protecting your own people, look at yourself first. Everyone, there is no room from Sephora for emergencies or mistakes or changes once you place an order for delivery. I would like to tell my story to everyone at the loudest voice so that no one has to suffer like me. I will still shop at Sephora because I need Dr Dennis products otherwise i would say bye to Sephora forever. I tried my best to be responsible for my order but no help from Sephora at all. Heartless and poor communications within. Their free delivery is useless and very risky. I would never buy anything for delivery from Sephora ever again.

From higher-end salon polishes and gear to lower end (but not always bad) supplies, the store has pretty much everything you need. I also go here to get my lightening powder and developer because in the long run it's way cheaper to go this way than buying boxed bleach from another store. If you mess up dying your hair they also have colour corrector so buy some just in case (I always skip this step because I live on the dangerous side of things). They also sell gel and acrylic nail kits so you can do it yourself at home and don't have to pay $40+ every month or so. Staff can be hit or miss bus usually they're very polite. Some know their stuff but some don't so go in prepared; do your research first if you're doing something like acrylic nails or hair dying. I'd recommend getting their beauty card, it's only $5 and it's saved me so much. They have special prices for members so you always get some sort of deal.

I decided to go to the store to return it and hoped to be directed to another product to try. I was not greeted as I entered the store. There were several employees on the floor and I walked to the counter where there was a customer making a purchase. I waited , an employee asked if I was being helped with the return. I said no. And she walked away After several minutes an employee opened another cash and asked how she could help. I explained the issue with the eyeliner, and I asked if she could suggest a replacement. She didn't seem very knowledgeable about the products, and even though I repeatedly told her that I wanted a liquid liner, she kept showing me pencils Liner. Finally another employee asked if we needed help. She suggested a liquid liner, but I needed a colour, not just black. Both said that there were no other liquid water resistant liner available In colours. I finally settled on a Stila liner. When I got home I looked at the sephora site and discovered that there were other options for what I wanted. Had the employees been more knowledgeable, I would have gotten a refund and ordered the item I really wanted online. I reached out to customer service and was told that I would be contacted by the manager of the store within 5-7 business days. It has been 2 weeks and have NOT heard word one !!!!

I'll be honest, my spa experiences are limited. Being a country gal, I'd sooner be at a truck pull then having my toe nails painted. However, now and then, everyone needs to spoil themselves. I was nervous about my first facial at Mudwraps to Manicures. As someone that doesn't pay particular attention to their skin, I viciously exfoliated and moisturized the week before my appointment. Like when you try to trick your dentist into thinking you take care of your teeth by flossing furiously before your yearly appointment. But they know, they know.... I had a stereotypical image of a spa in my mind, complete with bored, Botox ravaged housewives, swathed in mud. As I walked in, they would tap their painted talons on glass stables and glare, knowing I didn't belong. Like usual, my overactive imagination got the best of me. In reality, I was greeted and taken to a cozy, little seating area. While I was filling out my paperwork, I was given a delightful herbal tea (toffee flavoured!) to enjoy. I wasn't waiting long when an aesthetician introduced herself to me and took me to my room. The lights were turned down and the blinds were closed. I was told to change into a comfy robe and then she wrapped me up in blankets. My hands were massaged, and then put into warm mitts. The room was dark and warm, soothing music played throughout the entire spa. The facial was really nice. It was incredibly relaxing; it took all I had not to fall asleep. My aesthetician was chatty but not too chatty. She knew when to let me relax and drink it all in. Afterwards, my skin felt great. She was also very helpful when recommending what products would be good for my skin type. They have a wonderful selection of skin care products, but also bags, shoes, jewellery, scarves, etc. They have your standard services, such as mani/pedis, facials, waxing, massage, scrubs, wraps, you name it. They also have some intriguing treatments such as Max7 (light therapy) and endermology. That's a non-invasive lipo massage treatment for cellulite and re-contouring. I've since returned to try both of those services. Getting to wear a see-through, white jump suit makes trying endermology worth it. It's hilariously ridiculous; I dare you not to prance around a little! I've gone from someone that gets their skin care products from Wal-Mart to a total spa snob. They've got me hooked and because their prices are reasonable, I'm able to pamper myself without breaking the bank. Because, let's face it, not everyone can afford a silk body scrub every day. If you're looking to spoil yourself, or maybe a loved one, at a good price while still receiving pleasant, competent service, Mudwraps is for you! Plus, you get a chocolate when you pay, what more could you want?

The spa is much more than a two trick pony; services include a variety of facial treatments, medical esthetic treatments (yes, botox), massage, body treatments, endermologie, microdermabrasion, light therapy Manicure Pedicure Services, and-- phewf-- waxing. Ay carumba.. take your pick! I did the mudwrap because I've always wanted to try it. Walking into the spa, it seems more like a beautifully decorated home than facility. Victorian accents of furniture and detailing spoke of luxury, and the emphasis on visuals was well attained. From beginning to end, staff and service were kind and natural- perfect for such occasions. So I got the most popular body wrap, which is evidently a slimming wrap as well. We'll see. about that.... the 1 1/4 hour treatment includes a full exfoliation process, an Austrian mud application, followed by a detoxifying and rejuvenating process and Austrian Moor Mud body lotion application. Whew! I was lost in some sort of trance... I think I may have been frolicking in the Swizz Mountains somewhere... I cannot truly be sure... Side-note: They also have their own line of mineral makeup. I'd just come into the know about the greatness of such, so did not make a purchase... but mineral makeup is awesome, and they have their own line of it. Bonus points! All and all, this was an incredible experience and more than worth the $90+ tax. It gave me such a lift, not sure about the slim down, but a rejuvenation that stayed with me for days. For those who can indulge in such pleasures regularly-- do it. Its an instant relaxer and a healthy way to deal with stress or busy times. I will utilize this time to throw out my September 25th birthday to any loved ones who may be reading this. (because I know thats what you all do in your spare moments) I love Mudwraps!
