Unbelievable products, unbelievable cooling - and it doesn't get you wet! It's 98 degrees outside and their fans cool my patio perfectly!

Time to get ready for summer! I have seen Mist America commercials on local television and on quite a few occasions and enjoyed sitting under their fans at a local car wash. Since I enjoy sitting in my porch swing on most evenings, this last Christmas, my wife said she wanted me to have a Mist America system installed in the spring. Well, I pulled the trigger and am glad I did! After contacting Mist America, I decided that I wanted them to do the install since they have experience with the stainless steel tubing installation. After calling, Jeff came by to assess the installation. We discussed, fan models, fan color, pumps and routing. Jeff was patient and knowledgeable. On my end, I needed to provide an electrical outlet and water source. No biggie there. Jeff took a few measurements, thanked me and was off. I was scheduled the next week and the guys were out to install the following week. Ruben and Kenny were my installers. I discussed routing and pump placement with them and they went right to work. They were to install two Mist360 Cyclone fans and their high-end 1000psi pump. When Ruben began routing the tubing, I could tell he was particular about his work (just like I am). The runs were straight and the bends precise. Kenny went to work with the fan installation. All-in all about a 5-hour install. I was very pleased with their work. We fired the system up and it worked perfectly. I use my ceiling light switch to turn the fan on and a key fob to kick the pump on. I was given instructions on winterizing the system and changing oil in the pump. With that, we were done. The guys were so enjoyable to have around, I kind of hated to see them go! It looks as though I have one year warranty on the installation and fan, and 3 years on the pump. Everything was professionally handled by all of the Mist America representatives that I encountered. Years after purchasing a high-end porch swing and thoroughly enjoying it almost daily, I feel that same way about my Mist America Fans and look forward to summers outside with my two favorite recreational pleasures! read more

I tried to do a DIY misting system, the cheaper route, but it just wasn't the best way to go. A friend of mine suggested Mist America, had a gentlemen come out for a quote and went over everything and my options. I decided to go with them and it has been great. The "restaurant style" misting system is really the best way to go, it is more money but well worth it. Dealing with the company has been great, the staff too when I went to their place in Scottsdale was, helpful, I was able to see a couple of different systems to pick the best one I felt for me. Thank you Mist American for a great experience, I decided to go with their maintenance plan too so I don't have to worry about anything moving forward. read more

If I could give zero stars I would as the company and their service is the worst!!! You think paying top dollar for a misting service you would get a good product but NOPE! Light bulbs go out after one year, they do not guarantee there motors though it's a problem they have and I have fans that do not have the usage hours to warrant a motor going out! They do no call no shows and for what they charge you to "service" them is overpriced and should be reported. There are so many better options than this company. Choose anything but them. read more

After looking into multiple companies, checking reviews on portable mister systems you can get on line or at the Home Depot (which are horrible I might add), and speaking with neighbors who had mister systems I decided to purchase a Cyclone 360. It isn't an inexpensive system, but the saying that you get what you pay for is true. The way I look at it is that I didn't just buy a new house to look at the back yard through the window in the summer, which is what I've done for the last four years. I want to actually enjoy my back yard in the summer, so spending a little more for a decent mister system was something I was just trying to justify to myself because frankly I am a bit on the squeaky side from time to time when it comes to making large purchases. I was just needing a little push to convince myself to spend the money. And then along comes our new best friend named Covid; who just doesn't know when to leave the party. So now I find myself at home, all day long, every day, for months and months on end, doing nothing but looking out my window and wishing I could be out there. I may not be able to get my hair cut, but at least I wished I could enjoy my dang yard. So I made the call and Pete Rambo came out to my house and went through all the measurements, options and so on with me, and a few weeks later I had it installed on June 30th. A few questions regarding pump operation and maintenance came up later on down the road which Pete was able to assist with. Their lead installer Zach is the one who came out and ran the lines, hooked up the fan and gently suggested relocating the pump from where I had planned on placing it on my patio in order to reduce noise. He was super polite and professional but he did have me constantly looking over my shoulder for my dad each time he called me sir. In all seriousness though he is a heck of a guy and knows his stuff. So yeah, I am happy with the system to say the least. The only thing I would point out isn't negative but something you should be aware of. READ the manual. Remember that your pump is like any other piece of machinery. It requires care and maintenance. Specifically oil. The oil needs to be checked/added or changed every 40 working hours depending on the pump you get. If you live in AZ and work from home it's easy to just kick it on in the morning and leave it running until you go to bed. That means in one week you've run the 40 hours. If you run it only periodically you will still need to check it once a month just to be safe. Now if you will excuse me I am going to go outside to enjoy my patio with a cold beer and a book. Last year when we got it installed it was late in the season so we didn't get much use...but this year we have and what a relief!! Positive: The design of a fan to circulate the mist around means using less water than competitors. Much more efficient, especially in an environment were we are in a drought. Negative: The pumps are imported and not of any quality. First pump was dead on arrival. While the company was happy to exchange it when I showed up in their lobby (good luck getting a call returned), its an inconvenience to repeatedly have to either drive across town (9-5 m-f, no weekend hours) or pay for shipping over and over. When the replacement pump exploded after less than a days use, I was done. I attempted to call but it was a weekend and no weekend hours. I attempted to call Monday (July 3d) only to get a recorded message about being closed unless your a commercial account. Does me no good for a gathering on the 4th. I was forced to a competitor, and it became clear why the competitors pump is superior. Of course the Mist America feed line is non industry standard and required special adaptors... Bottom Line: Don't waste your time with Mist America. They are happy to take your money but quickly become un-responsive when their cheap imported parts fail. Do your homework, you can get a custom system for not much more money that will work reliably. Luckily a competitor was open and local with a superior pump. My only regret; I wish I would have known about the competitor sooner as I would have bought from them to begin with. read more

So you pay many thousands of dollars for premier system; pay hundreds more for the annual maintenance program; call days in advance for service to your system and accommodate their schedule (not them accommodating yours); finally get the call 3 hours late that service is on its way, only for them not to show up. The system is great...when it works. But don't expect great, or even marginal, response when you need service (unless maybe if you are a commercial customer). Top priority at mist america is only to sell, not maintain satisfied customers. In Arizona you need a cooling mist system, so unfortunately are stuck with this kind of poor performance. Not sure that anyone else is better. read more

We are so impressed with everything about MistAMERICA! Their mist fans are the Rolls Royce of outdoor misting fans (used by restaurants). Their customer service is excellent! They make you feel like you are their number one customer and priority. Jeremy came out to our home, gave us the price quote based on our current system, replied to our emails promptly and was very kind, answering all of our questions in detail. The installation team was professional and installed everything flawlessly. Our outdoor furniture was even placed exactly the way we had it. The area is gloriously cool; it's just a whole different feel and atmosphere out there. We are so happy with it that we are considering getting another one for over the outdoor eating area. The color that we chose is a beautiful bronze-brown that matches the metal on our outdoor furniture exactly, however they will paint the fan any color that you want. This is a beautiful fan, without the typical fan blades and has a powerful, cooling mist without that dampness that no one wants. Poor customer service. Installation was great but they failed to honor their maintenance agreement. Don't purchase it as they may not deliver. They promised they would take care of it and kept coming with excuses that their maintenance guy got a flat tire or had to go out of town. Libby and I purchased our MistAmerica Cyclone for her Mother's Day present, but it is really for the whole family. We just gave ourselves the use of our patio all summer in the Phoenix Arizona heat. The cyclone hung just as easy as the ceiling fan it replaced. Running the high pressure waterline to the pump was simple and after connecting the water to the hose bib and plugging it in we were in COOL heaven. I can't say enough good things about the product and service from the MistAmerica team. I've had one Mist 360 operating at my restaurant for the past 8 years and it has been flawless. When I have had issues, they were quick to respond. This past year, I had them come out for another install at a new location. When they're technician called in sick, Jon the owner came and did it himself, now that is service. Anyone is welcome to come to the Brat Haus in Old Town Scottsdale and I would be happy to give a personal demo. The amazing part has been how one unit keeps such a large area cool and dry. Great products and great service! I started out with their mini-cool mister and after the installation which they did a great job doing I realized that it really wasn't the unit that would give me the best coverage with my low patio roof. I do recommend it though if you have the heighth. After speaking with the salesman and owner they offered to give me a refund or go with full perimeter misters. I chose the perimeter misters with the pump on the side of the house. What a great system! Keeps my patio nice an cool and the family loves it. Great people and awesome products. I highly recommend MistAmerica After two years I didn't know that they hVe a maintenance program. Looking forward to it all though a bit pricey. Salesman never mentioned it. read more

Mist America consistently disappoints me and I would not recommend them. I have gone through three different pumps in the past seven years and had to replace the last one even though it should have been under warranty and today they couldn't even call ahead for start-up service after I made the appointment 2 weeks ago. Tech shows up early while I'm at work, supposedly does work, leaves no paperwork and leaves my home. I show up at the appointment time (missing work) 12-4 and wait until 3:30 to call Mist America only to find out work has been done....no paperwork, no communication. I definitely do NOT recommend them and if you use them, do so being warned..... read more

Ordered a MiniCool that arrived last week. When I saw the forecast for this week, I began the installation process. I'm a DIY guy, so I figured out some things after an attempt or two. And once you've installed one, you know the fastest and right way to do it. But if you couldn't assemble a barbecue, I'd pay the extra to have it professionally installed. By the way, I'm up in Seattle. We'll be near 100 the next couple of days, and my MiniCool will be already earning its keep. read more

Wonderful service! This was a very timely install and the staff was great. We love the way the unit looks and the fan only option. Much better than our old and line system. This doesn't get you all wet and significantly cools the patio down. I was so surprised, sitting outside in June for hours with the mist on was so comfortable. Do not buy a system from Mist America. There are much better systems available and certainly much better companies than Mist America. I purchased a Mist America system in 2015. Since then the maintenance has been very expensive. I replaced the pump after three years and then it went out again this year. I have paid them for more nozzles than I care to remember. There customer service has been quite poor. This spring the technician who turned on the system did so while I was gone and he left us with only 7 nozzles working out of 32 in the system. When I mentioned this to the woman who handles calls, she simply said "he no longer works for us". No apology, no compensation, nothing. I switched to Precision Mist equipemt and EH Mr. Mister for service and I am very happy that I did. read more

Professional and caring! From the moment we met with Cliff to get our estimate until the moment Colton and Ruben finished our installation, Mist America has had one thing in mind - gain another happy client! And they did! Cliff was very detailed in assessing our existing water and power situation to put misters on our pool patio. He instructed us of the additional work we needed to do (dedicated power outlet) so that when we had our electrician come in to do the work, we knew exactly what to ask for. The installation went perfect with the guys being here for a couple of hours. The paint color of the water line matches our house color perfectly and the way they ran the lines made sure it wasn't easily noticed on the side of our home. I am so grateful for their attention to detail. Post installation, we received a detailed mini training session of what to look for, what problems may possibly arise down the road (if at all), and how to take care and maintain our new system. All in all we feel so confident that we picked the right company to work with. Cliff even stopped by at the end of our installation to make sure all was good and that we were happy! I highly recommend MistAmerica! We have sat under many of their units at Cold Beers and Cheeseburgers, Starbucks and our favorite Italian restaurant. The MistAmerica system is by far the best over any other misting system. They are cooler and you don't get damp under them either. What I appreciate so much about the MistAmerica systems is they allow patios of outdoor cafes and restaurants to be comfortable ANY time of the year because they can keep the spaces cool (and still dry!) or warm, whatever the weather. Don't buy this system. Our system failed and flooded our entire Master Bedroom and bathroom. The service technician was out to inspect out system in May and didn't see any issues. Needless to say 5 months later the system failed badly. Be very cautious if you purchase their systems. read more

We have had a Mist360 fan/light above our outdoor dining table for about 3 years and LOVE it. Our guests always comment on it and we are able to use the area during the summer months with the misting system. It is true mist - not a drip so comfortable for all gatherings and guests. We also use the lights year-round - the ones around the fan are great for ambience and for more light, we use the ones that shine below. We enjoy them for dinners and playing board/card games with our friends and family outside in the evening. I had seen the fan in area restaurants and looked up the company. Thankfully it was nearby and I stopped by the showroom unannounced and met Jon, the owner. He was welcoming and in no time I was working with someone for our custom made fan. It was great that we were able to come up with the design around the light ourselves to have it tie in to our other metal work in the yard. After our fan was installed, Tasha was our tech and she came out to adjust the misting system (as expected, no fault of the fan). She was very helpful, nice and the service was quick. read more

Well, I am not an actual customer of MistAMERICA - however I felt led to write a review about one of the employees there I met this morning. Lots of car problems lately - yesterday I stalled on Scottsdale Road and Mountain View and waited an hour an a half for AAA - in the heat - and not one person out of the literally hundreds of cars that passed - including two Scottsdale Police officers - stopped to help push the car out of rush hour traffic or ask if I was ok. This morning, on Camelback Road, the same thing happened. I almost started crying because I got sick from being out in the heat yesterday. However, this time, a super nice young man named Greg stopped to ask if he could help push my car - he did, then made sure I was ok before he left. This guy restored my faith in humanity - gentlemanly, kind, and helpful. MistAMERICA - you got a jewel with this man. Would be happy to have him working for me any day. We recently purchased a high pressure misting system from MistAmerica. After getting a few bids and doing some homework, we settled on a "do it yourself" approach. From the moment we met Rob at Mist America, our experience was nothing short of fantastic. He sat down with us to identify exactly what we needed (he did not attempt to up sell us on anything we did not need) and kept us on budget. He was able to get our pump, lines and all hardware ready to go for us within 24 hours. On install day, Rob was available to answer questions, which I did have a few, and even CALLED ME to check in late in the day.
