So, I was getting a new dryer and decided it would be a good time to clean out my dryer lint vent…read more I ordered a kit with a round brush and some flexible rods that you attach to a drill and feed through the vent to clean out the lint. Sounds simple enough, right? So the flexible rods that screw together unfortunately separate while I'm using the drill and the brush and several of the rods are stuck inside the duct. I watch a YouTube video explaining how to remove it (it apparently happens frequently) by buying additional rods and attaching a "corkscrew" made from a wire hanger which you feed into the duct by hand to hopefully "grab" onto the brush and pull it out. You guessed it, that got stuck too. I called King Air Duct Cleaning and Lance (the owner) assured me that he understood the issue and he would be able to squeeze me in so I could start using my new dryer. Lance was here this morning and he was amazing. Within 20 minutes he had both of the pieces removed from the duct and all of the built-up lint cleared. Then he hooked up my new dryer, tested the airflow and assured me everything was good to go! And the cost was about 1/3 of what I thought it would be! Highly recommended!!!

We got three different quotes and recommendations for a replacement 5 ton unit, and Honest Air Care's knowledge, transparency, flexibility, and price once again caused us to choose them. They offered several different models we could choose from, spanning the spectrum of discount and premium traditional heatpumps as well as newer inverter models (one of which we ultimately selected) with a couple different price/efficiency points. They were really the only one to do that, the others seemed to have their old school model and brand they liked and wanted to stick with it (which is entirely reasonable, but not what we wanted). They also communicated pretty well, answering an emailed question and responding on the phone. They replaced our rooftop unit, redid the connector and roof integration to account for changes in form factor, and added three new vents into our bedrooms to account for the additional air flow required (and improve night time cooling effectiveness), all in one day.
