Car wash made marks on the driver's sidefront wheel. It looks like the guide rail rubbed against the rim about 4 or so inches above the tire. The GM totally dismissed the damage saying it could not be from there because nobody else complained. The GM at the north lakeland location clearly does not like to accept customer complaints. My better half brought her care there when it was Miriam South and never had any trouble, possibly because I worked there part time from 1980 until they sold out in 2017 to Mr. Car Wash. Prices went sky high and service became questionable, but it's about the only full service game left in town so she continued to go. And every time they asked her to sign up for the monthly plan and, every time, she said no. Then a couple months ago, right after getting home from a wash, she noticed a sticker dangling off the bottom of the windshield. Initially, I thought maybe it was a good customer sticker but it turned out to be a monthly plan she didn't ask for. She tried to call but nobody ever answers the phone. We live in north Lakeland and it's quite a drive all the way south, so she called her credit card company and they did a charge-back. Guess what? They charged her again this month. Now it's been sent to credit card investigations and they'll have to block that business from using her card. I guess my next stop will be the BBB if they continue. read more

My car had a spider tagging along on the passenger's side. Freeloader. Josh immediately helped me. He took a long-nosed cleaner attachment and took that bad boy into the vacuum, webs and all. No more spider, so far. Josh is my hero. Michael does a great job guiding my car onto the rails of the actual wash. He, too, like Josh are very sweet and friendly. It's a joke; I paid extra for what I was told was an inside detail and then when it was "done" the manager said oh we only lightly dust the inside, the extra is for the outside which I specifically asked when I pulled in about the inside needing the extra care. Multiple times it is very clear that nothing is touched inside the car, not wiped down at all. Or at best just the drivers side area. Maybe they think you won't notice the lack of attention to other areas. I have addressed the issues with the car wash more than once and nothing gets done or taken care of so I am cancelling the subscription and no longer using their services. Although I'd successfully used this carwash for years under old and new companies, upon arrival, I was told I was banned from this carwash due to my running boards being too low. Spoke to 2 girls and a manager. Didn't matter that I'd just been in it last week fine, that I've used it monthly for a year, that I have taller struts installed to keep the floorboards higher. Nope-some other person apparently got a running board torn off of a similar van so they are no longer serving ANY low vans. I have given this place chance after chance for years and years and they continue to let me down they are even on their phones while wiping the car down they're watching videos and not even looking to see what they're doing my windshield I can't even see out of in the mornings it's so nasty. Very expensive and they don't detail it at all they don't even wipe down the dash just the very edge even when you've asked them to do it and pay extra. I sit and watch them and they don't even open the tailgate of my SUV. We paid for the best package. Our car was dirty inside and out. When they were finished, it was still dirty inside and out. The young man that "cleaned" it called us over and said it was ready. The back had not been vacuumed, there was still road grime all over the front and back25 of the car, the inside had only been half cleaned out. The wheel wells were still full of sand and the rims were still dirty. Then another crew member had the audacity to tell us "it's not finished, you shouldn't be over here". I have had my car washed at the S Florida Ave location in Lakeland for more than 10 years. Over the years their service has been satisfactory. However with the changes they have made recently they have become less than an average level of service ( water spots, back not completely cleaned, etc). Recently the last two times a young man at the entrance of the bay refused to spray the front and back of my vehicle stating it didn't need it. This past Thursday 5/30/24, I asked the young man again to spray the front and again he refused. Saying it didn't need it. I asked for the manager and he said he would meet me at the end of the bay. When I got there, he informed me that your policy is based on the number of bugs on the front. I asked what was the number based on and he said it was up to attendant. ????? So with that can of a policy can they also determine that your car isn't dirty enough to wash?? I had a monthly Platinum Pass. No More! This place has become a joke. read more

I got the "full serve #1" which is $24 ... and they didn't even clean out the cup holders like they said .. my dash was still a bit dirty but that's ok ... I can wipe that down .. but to pay $24 and still have my cup holder full of crumbs and dust .. is ridiculous .. the person that comes and greets you and tell you about the different types of washes , they only tell you the most expensive kind .. they don't brouchers sitting out ... hand out or even have it where customers can take one .. I went this morning to have my car washed because they always do such an awesome job. Today I got a bonus! While they were vacumning out my car they found $285 that I thought I had lost almost a year ago. My granddaughter and I had gone through the car and were never able to find it. It was really wedged in tight but the young man was able to retrieve it for me. It is such a wonderful feeling to know that there are still honest people in this world. I have used this carwash for years and been satisfied in the past. Yesterday I was in a rush and left after my $40 plus tip without going over the car. Once home I found that it was the most incompetent wash I have ever had. Dust and dirt everywhere inside the car. There was a lot of visible dirt on the wheels and step. I usually come to Mister car wash when I'm to lazy to bust out my detail cart and hose or I'm straight up desperate. Today I was both of those those things. I tried the detail service for $32. I'm so disappointed. Side note: In the past I've had to go back and re wash my car (bc they didn't scrub down the front the first time) and it was a little better and I just went about my way, whatever. Today I tried something new! I decided to "splurge" on a light detail. I caught a dirty windshield and they wiped it down but didn't have time to look at the rest. MY bad. I will be detailing my car myself tonight. The pictures say it all and i can't believe I tipped! Oh I forgot to mention my husband had a similar experience IN UTAH and went through the wash 3 times!!! This once was a great car wash I take my company car there once every two weeks for either full service or express. Today's service was express, I pay and stay in the car. I pull up and as entering the wash, I ask the guy if he could spray for the love bugs and hit it with the pressure hose. He proceeds with attitude and grabs the brush and scrubs the drivers side only and it did nothing to remove the bugs. It should not matter if you are express or full service, I should not have to pay to have my car washed and still have all the bugs. Looking to find another place to get my car washed. I paid for the $32 deluxe wash - bug removal pretreatment was very good- however, once it went thru the wash tunnel, I don't know what happened. The entire back of my SUV was still dirty like absolutely no water had touched it. I pointed it out to the drying staff and one guy took care of it with a spray bottle of I don't know what and a rag. Hope it does not mess the paint up. Interior was not well done. Water spots all over exterior, bird poop still visible in obvious areas. The deluxe wash supposed to have some sort of wax but I think that was left out (like the water). So, I do not recommend - I can do a better job myself. This place is a complete disaster. I paid for th ultimate wash $40. They didn't even have me wait 30 mins. and they had several cars before mine. When they call me that my car is done, of course it was done they did nothing. Everything was dirty as it was. They didn't care to wipe down my car on the inside, nor did they vacuum my seats, and they stained all my windows. This place is a total rip off! I recently brought my truck to the Mister Car Wash at 5031 S. Florida Ave. in Lakeland, and during the wash my antenna was broken off. I spoke to someone at the car wash who seemed genuinely concerned and she took some photos of the truck. She said they would review the videos that they had and she took my contact information. I was under the impression that the business would try to rectify the situation, but a few days later I received a text message stating that "per their disclaimer signs, they could not be held responsible for the damage." I was also told in the text that since my truck was a 2016, the "ware" on the antenna was the reason it was "snatched off." I was offered a couple of interior cleans for my trouble, but given the situation that I am dealing with, there is no way that I would return. I am also sure that management is aware that posting signage that releases them of liability does not have any legal standing and does not actually relieve the organization of any liability. I just wanted to let your leadership team know how the business is being handled and, to be honest, I find it absurd that a company would be willing to lose a regular customer over a $33 antenna. I would guess that the cost of the two interior cleans that were offered would have a higher value than the antenna, itself. I have used your services often over the past 12 years, even though the reviews have not been flattering (2 stars on Yelp; 2.6 stars on Facebook). My hope is that if there are enough complaints, the Management Team will address the issues instead of hiding behind its signage. read more

I've used Mister Car Wash before multiple times for a full clean. Yesterday I decided to use their express clean. Customer service was great and I got in and out quickly which was ideal since it was time for my two year olds nap. After I got my car washed I went home and parked it in my garage for the day/night. The problem lies in waking up and getting in my car this morning. Going out into the garage I noticed some streaks on my hood. Then I sat in my car to leave and realized there was residue all over my windows. I called Mister Car Wash and they said come on up so we can see what we can do. I get there and again great customer service until the manager comes over. He questions me and says this didn't happen from us. I told him I hate confrontation, I hate even being here but I paid to get my car clean and it isn't. He said then why aren't other cats here with the same problem. In the end they sent me through the car wash and the residue is off but I shouldn't have basically been called a liar in the process. You all have now lost a customer. read more

Decent car wash if you're in a rush, I took my Acura in for a wash (I'm not exactly sure which service I paid for since it was my first time going but I remember it was $16) my car was pretty well cleaned expect for the front bumper, there were still bugs and it look like it hadn't been touched by the car wash at all. The Car wash I now call Mr. Car Wash and the transition to new owners could not be worse. I can't understand the reviewer who thinks this is an upgrade! I used the wash (Lake Miriam car wash) for many many years and although it had its odd ups and downs, it was never anywhere as bad as this wash today I bought the highest priced package "Platinum" is $32 which is supposed to include everything. However on getting my car back I had the following: 1/ Only half(literally half) of the car had been vacuumed. 2/ the mats were half vacuumed, but not vacuumed underneath 3/ The seats had not been touched, not even an attempt had been made to wipe them down. 4/ On the outside, the car was covered in spots and drips after the wash. I'd have been better off going down the road for the drive through $4 wash and spending 5 mins at the vacuums and wiped down the seats myself later I'll be finding a new car wash! read more
