When the car is fixed and ready I find out they changed the front brakes. Now I am 100% sure the noise has nothing to do with the front brakes but I just went with it because they were due for a change anyway. THE PROBLEM I HAD WAS NEVER ADDRESSED. My car is still making a squealing noise from under the hood and I'm out $700. To make matters worse, exactly two weeks after the front pad, rotor, and caliber was changed on the passenger side, the caliber seizes and my brake starts billowing smoke. I get the car towed back here because I find it hard to believe that this has nothing to do with the repair two weeks prior only to be charged another $220 for a flex hose. Long story short I have more problems after having my vehicle 'repaired' here than before and I certainly don't plan on ever returning.

Normally I don't like to write bad reviews on here even when their service is not on par or worse…read more But I just can't find words to describe my disappointment for the poor service and dishonesty that they put on display during the over month period I was dealing with them on my BMW transmission rebuilt job. I brought my car to them for a check-up as my dash display shows "Transmission Malfunction ". They said they'll drop the pan and do this and that for this amount of money, shouldn't need a total rebuilt, I believed them and left my car to them. Then I got a call saying I need to pay $1400 more as the torque converter needs to be replaced. That was unexpected, so I started to ask around and thinking well, bad luck, it's still cheaper than a total rebuilt. Plus they assured me a two year warranty and told me everything should be ok after this job is done. Little did I expected is after they charged me $2K+ when I pick up the car, they said they can't give me warranty and my "Transmission Malfunction" indicator will most likely be on later (which it did 24hrs later) because there's other parts like valve body needs to be replaced, it's going to cost me this huge amount, way more than the total rebuilt that other shops quoted me. I felt cheated, and figured their trick was to keep adding jobs to initial quote and still not giving you guaranty if it's fixed so they can keep adding more jobs to it. I said I will call their head quarter to resolve this, then the manager Steve finally agreed to fix it within other shops average total rebuilt cost. But just when I'm ready to bring the car in, that same manager changed his mind and said he couldn't remember agreeing to it and my warranty does not cover anything even at that point I already paid 2K and problem still not fixed! I felt disgusted to continue dealing with him after he lied to my face and went to another shop and got the problem fixed. He even called and changed his mind again after and tried to get me to bring the car in and I knew he can't be trusted at that point. Which is proven to be right as the second shop that I went to told me at one point Mister Transmission sent my car to their shop to get a diagnosis as they couldn't figure out what the problem was. So, guys, do yourself a favor: if you don't want to go through what I went through, don't ever go to Mister Transmission at 1361 The Queensway location. One star is even over rating for this shop!

I brought my BMW to Mister Transmission because I thought they were experienced with transmission…read more Do NOT go to this location, especially speaking to GUS or Ray the owner. They first tell you they have scanned the car to find out what exactly is wrong with your car. They quote you a low amount based on what they find on their computer. If you ask them for a quote, don't expect to get one. If you ask them to put anything on paper, you won't get one. They originally quoted on the phone around $800 to fix the transmission. Which includes $680 for removing the transmission, and the $100 for parts. They then phoned me back the next day stating that it would take $5000+ to fix it. By that time, your care is completely ripped apart....you feel trapped. They gave me an option of swapping the transmission. ZF transmission to be exact. A few days later, they told me that they can't get the transmission to fit because the plugs are different. I phoned BMW abou the transmission and they said ZF only makes one transmission. They later told BMW that they were trying to fit a Mercedes transmission into a BMW. Very brilliant!...I wonder where Gus went to school? maybe one for special needs. Anyway, after over 76 calls to the head office and their office. I got my transmission fixed after almost a month. DO NOT GO TO MISTER TRANSMISSION!!!!!!!!!

I wasn't sure what kind of bulb I currently had in my car, HID or LED, so he said to drop by and he would take a look. The store is in a plaza on the south side of Sheppard Avenue East, just east of Brimley, and faces the front of the street. I couldn't find it at first because I didn't look at the units as I was driving in, so I parked at the far end of the plaza. The store is very small, and Dave was by himself, so he locked up and came out to look at my car. He knew exactly what I needed and showed me the difference between the 6000K and 8000k bulbs. I went with what I currently had and bought a set (you should always replace both, not just one). He also gave me a good recommendation of a place that would install the bulbs if I needed it. Payment is by cash or credit card, and Dave didn't try to persuade me either way. I had a problem during the installation, and the auto shop suggested I go back to see Dave. The wiring was quite complicated for my particular car, and Dave spent well over 30 minutes outside in the parking lot trying to fix it for me. In between this, he had to run back and forth to his store to accept courier packages. He wanted to save me a trip, but also wanted to make sure the wiring was inserted correctly and was safe. He tested the bulbs, which were fine, so it was just the tricky wiring, and layout that needed work. It wasn't all that difficult, just time consuming and frustrating. I thanked him for his time and gave him a generous cash tip, which he refused, but I insisted. I'm just glad the job was completed so I could drive at night! Thanks so much for your help Dave!
