I said please do not waste my time and offer me 'like $385k'. Pat said, 'oh no, we do not do that. So I proceeded. I chatted with their agent next and we set up a time to meet at the house and appraise. I again said please do not waste my time if this is just going to be a lowball offer, again even saying 385k as an example of an offer we would be offended by. After three days of communicating and arranging my schedule to to meet Shawn at the property, his offer was $325k. The zillow estimate on our house was $445k and the Zillow offer to buy it was $401k. This was such a colossal waste of time and could have been avoided with honestly and integrity.
