In sept I email Anthony asking could he add my daughter and her car today On Friday, the day I emailed he said yes gave me a quote, did not respond back Wednesday I Emailed again he told me she was under 21 he couldn't add her, at that point I already knew that because when he stopped responding I called Berkshire myself and was told that, October bought a new truck asked how much to add it? Was there a down payment? No it will just be its monthly amount added to your draft, so when I see the insurance draft was almost $500 I stead of $196 I disputed it and started emailing Anthony ask what is going on, I'm out of the office I'll call you tomorrow, 3 days later I'm reaching out again he calls says aww well you added 2 new vehicles ? No I did not I added 1 my daughter and (HER) car could not be added, I'll I'll updated that and get it to you, 100 emails later he send my updated policy cancellation is what he sent me for non payment , so I was supposed to give them $500 wait on Anthony to do his job and what do the credit my account? I think not I told him I disputed it and needed the correct amount to pay it. Aww let me not forget this past July they drafted me an extra $600 I immediately reach out to Anthony he said aw that's your down payment and I emailed before hand, which he did not. Down payment???? I paid that last year well to renew your policy you have to pay again. I am going to take him to small claims court because the fat that I paid 2 down payments on top of monthly , I know have to go pay another down payment to start a new policy, seems t me I'm paying for his mistakes , I think not. He have day after day to fix this and blew me off . Worst customer service I've ever had. I'll attach emails if it lets me. He just emailed and said I need to pay $444 to keep my policy and $383 a month ? My insurance was $196 a month I added a vehicle for $66 more a month but now I have to pay $383 a month and another down payment, even after I was told I don't have to.

I contacted two independent agents and one brand-name insurance company. I was shocked at the price range for the same coverage. Jason Brofford at Detweiller-Brofford Insurance checked with different companies to get us the best deal, and the insurance he found for us was $1000 cheaper. We accepted pretty quickly! Every year when it's time to renew, Jason again looks around to find us the lowest price for coverage. This year, our policies are with Erie Insurance, top-rated for homeowners Insurance in the August 2017 issue of Consumer Reports magazine. Vonnie McDonald did not earn my business, she was given my account after it was passed from agent…read moreto agent around town, she is the fifth State Farm Agent to service my account. Well actually her office just accepts my payment. They are also the point of contact when State Farm says I need to replace garage doors, because they have mold growing on them from humidity moisture, to provide them with proof of estimates and replacement of garage doors. State Farm also demanded I replace a perfectly good roof that roofing replacement companies wrote estimates showing cost of replacing the roof, but indicated the roof did not need replacement. So I didn't waste the money to replace a functional roof. Vonnie McDonald insisted my policy would be cancelled despite providing the documentation. There was also 19 month waiting list at the time to have a roof replaced which would extend past the policy renewal date. I provided the documentation and thought we were good to go. We renew in April, I get the renewal letter in March, sometimes February and we did not get one. I went to Vonnie McDonalds office to inquire and just make the annual payment. The y refused the payment stating they needed the renewal letter to accept payment. Something that had never happened in the ten years I have been paying for State Farm insurance. It turns out the inspector has the power to cancel policies according to Vonnie anyway and despite the inspector cancelling my policy two months after the letter was sent, State Farm and Vonnie McDonald strung me along for ten months saying everything was good to go, so they didn't have to give me a refund. I believe I received $23 back once I figured out they were not renewing my renters policy. My renter is also a reservist, who served two back to back deployments and was not living in the rental property because of the deployments. Inspector not only decided I needed a new roof despite never inspecting the roof as security cameras do not show anyone performing and inspection of the roof until the roofers who came to provide estimates came out to look at the roof. The same inspector from State Farm decided he can determine a vacant home by looking at a house. Documentation was provided to Vonnie McDonald and to State Farm and we were ignored. They took our payment and intended to not provide coverage or renew our policy because we didn't need to replace the roof, but couldn't get a roof installed until four months after the policy renewal date. State Farm Vonnie McDonald dumped us and then a few months later had the audacity to cold call us to Insure our six cars and travel trailer with them. We can't trust we will be covered even if we pay the annual premium up front and I declined their offer to quote us an auto policy. The lady that called ended the call with a comment that I can keep my business elsewhere as we could afford the policy anyway. Never again will we use State Farm or Bonnie McDonald as an agent.
