Jake takes the time for you to meet & pet the animals, explain how they care for the animals including other animals off site. He is an engaging, positive person who always has kind & motivating messages for you. His wife and him just opened a small mineral mine and an available Airbnb for visitors who want to spend more time at their farm and in nearby Bryson City, NC. They are planning to raise cattle, have outside movie nights and install a goat slide on the roof. Oh, usually expect to hear Jake's fav music, bluegrass & country, when you visit. Expect to leave with a big smile, some profound messages to dwell on and a sense of peace we city dwellers don't often feel these days.

He was so friendly and shared so much information with us on the animals and the area. Most of the animals are rescues. The place is clean and the animals are well taken care of. They are so full of personality and some couldn't get enough of our interaction with them. They are slowly expanding what they are offering and I can't wait to see what they do with the place. Please support them! It is well worth your time and money.

The communication, professionalism. and integrity of this company is exemplary. I have not eaten a lot of Wagyu beef and didn't get why it was so special and so expensive. I just can't do any wrong cooking it--the steaks especially are out of this world!!! I am cooking Wagyu now for the price I would pay for regular beef in the supermarket. It is so much healthier, safer, and more inexpensive to get beef this way, all from the same healthy and well-cared for local animal. The contact email is ca@providencefarmstread.com
