Me being a timid driver, I decided to search my horizons to find another option to complete this trip. Thankfully, I was recommended to Jag Motorcoach, and let's just say my expectations were exceeded! I paid a standard fee, which included transport to Mackinaw (Mackinac) city, my ferry ticket, and a DELICIOUS lunch at the grand hotel. The staff at Jag Motorcoach are absolutely amazing, and I especially adored the young blonde who stepped up to be a tour guide. She was very funny and cracked a few jokes. I believe that she was a member of the family, which just shows how family oriented this business is. Our tour guide was able to share the history of prohibition in Detroit as well as shared the unique history at each of our stops. I would definitely recommend to try this tour.

I'm a big girl so... usually the seats are small but these were ok. Plenty of foot space under the seats. The bathroom was CLEAN! and equipped! Been on several busses that the ppl forgot to attend to the bathroom. There was supposed to have been phone chargers under the seats but we never found them. But our driver( forgive me I forgot his name) was very professional and very knowledgeable about the local construction conditions and saves us 15 minutes by avoiding them. Way to go! The female driver Tonya was driving on her cell phone(Facebook) and swerving all over the road. She also told the passengers "Don't act black because you know they don't like us." There an actual video of her horrible driving. To top that off the two drivers had a huge verbal disagreement in front of everyone. Which made everyone uncomfortable and more fearful of riding the bus. So before you use this company please be aware that the safety of the passengers is not a priority.

Before booking, I carefully reviewed the menu on their website because I have a food allergies. Based on the menu they advertised, I was confident there would be plenty of options I could safely eat. Unfortunately, when we boarded, we discovered the menu was completely different. We were told by Olivia that the boat had recently been purchased by new owners and that "things have been overlooked." The menu posted online had never been updated, despite the food offerings having changed. As a result, I couldn't eat the dinner I had already paid for because items on the actual menu contained ingredients I'm allergic to. When I brought it to their attention, the only response I received was, "Sorry, thanks for letting us know." Advertising one menu and serving another is unacceptable, especially when people rely on that information due to food allergies or dietary restrictions. It was a disappointing experience, and there was no attempt to make it right. Save your money. I would not recommend the Princess Wenonah.

The second ship (on the upper deck) was never notified to go down for dinner. They also waited too long to serve the first shift. The best part of the cruise was the band and the fireworks at the end. We did have special seating for that. Bit, unfortunately I can't recommend this cruise and would not do it again.
