Great price and service on oil changes, tire repair and basic automotive with a pretty reasonable shop rate for being in Branson city limits($120 per hour). They work fast and don't ride the clock and their works seems tight, they leave the vehicle clean and they answer any questions you might have with no "beating around the bush" or trying to talk you into fluff or nonsense optional service upgrades. I bought 4 new Michelin tires (over $1000) for my RV. I was out of town so I had someone else get the work done for me. A walk-around was not performed afterwards and it seems that whomever changed the tires had put one of the aluminum wheels on the tire machine in such a way which gouged the exterior-facing side in 4 places. After contacting them and sending pictures 3 different times (I'm guessing because I live in California now) I have heard nothing. In the time that I lived in Branson I have bought two sets of tires (including service work and repairs) from this store for various cars and even this RV. It has been about 18 months now (since spring of 2014) and still no response from them. No sorry. No nothing. I have spent about an hour sanding and polishing and it's getting better, but you can still see it just walking by. I'm not looking for hundreds of dollars; just someone to admit they screwed up.... And maybe a new Michelin banner to hang in my garage :-) read more

On vacation from Des Moines and wanted to make sure my car was in good shape for the time spent here and the trip back. Got an oil change and couldn't be happier. I recently got my brakes done as well and when putting the wheels back on the air valve was covered. I asked them if they could take those off and rotate it for me so I could air up my tires and they did it for free! No pressure, great price, and I was out in about 20 minutes. Long story short, one of the technicians was from Des Moines and we ended up talking for a while and becoming Facebook friends out of a simple oil change! While on vacation I had a break line break. I managed to get to the parking lot and was then stranded with meeting to be at in 45 minutes. They not only repaired my truck, but took me to my meeting so that I wasn't late. They also offered to pick me up if needed. This is true service and dedication to their profession. We found this place by accident and recommendation from a gas station clerk even though there was another tire shop closer ... We drove 1800 miles from Reno, NV into Branson, MO for a summer vacation. Somewhere along the way we picked up a nail in the sidewall so there is no patching- No reputable tire shop should recommend that a patch be installed on a sidewall puncture. And this shop appropriately and politely informed me that no repair was possible. My vehicle is an all wheel drive SUV. Tire shops should always recommend replacing all 4 tires because mismatched tire brand, tread design, tread depth, have the potential to damage your all wheel drive system. Their first suggestion was the proper one, to change all 4 tires. Being on vacation we didn't want to spend that much on the only set of tires that they had available. I guess they first perceived that we maybe were unable to pay for an entire set and offered to order the same brand to replace the one tire and advised me to replace the other 3 when we got back to Reno. I still didn't want to run the 1800+ miles with unmatched tire tread depths. I convinced the manager that I was ok with an inexpensive tire set that I could just use to make it back to Reno. His only hesitance was because he was genuinely concerned about quality work and the reputation of his shop. He ordered the agreed upon tire set, and had it expedited to the shop so that we could get them installed the next day. They didn't even require that we prepay for the special order. I not only recommend this shop, but I commend them on their dedication to quality and the needs of the customer and just good old pride and doing what they feel is right for the customer. We were in Branson on a vacation trip and woke up Saturday morning with a flat tire. We had a spare tire but a were a little concerned about traveling home while pulling a camper without a spare. I decided to change the tire in hope of dropping it off somewhere to be repaired and picking it up later. I typically look for local shops for this type of repair since they usually seem more interested in helping someone in a difficult position. I walked in to ask if they could fix it today and the gentlemen behind the counter immediately came out to take a look. We took it inside to inspect it. The shop was clean and well kept and they allowed me to come along to see for myself. I do a lot of repairs myself so this is a bonus for me. After closely checking the tire for other damage we determined the valve stem was leaking. They quickly replaced the valve stem and told me I was all set....free of charge! Now I don't expect this and attempted to pay for something, but they weren't interested explaining they were glad they could help. I think from the time I got there to the time I left was maybe ten minutes. They didn't know me or have any indication that I would leave this review, so I can't claim this special treatment for any reason, just honest, helpful southern Missouri people. These guys were great and I will recommend them to anyone I have a chance to. read more

I went to Mitchem to get my vehicle inspected. I gave them the exact letter from the DMV that states what kind of inspection I needed. They performed the wrong inspection. DMV sent me another letter stating they did the wrong inspection. I went back to Mitchem and they denied that it was their error and charged me again. I will not use them for any future service. read more

After leaving Mitchem Tire and Wheel in Branson, MO, I noticed grease on the driver's seat. I called to tell the manager Kurt. He seemed indifferent, yet did say he would clean it if I brought it back. I then called Steve Cruz Jr. in the Springfield store. He said he would call the Branson location. I returned to the Branson store and then noticed the rips in the seat. The manager was upset with me and walked right past me without speaking to me with a can of cleaner. He went outside and reached for my auto door. I then rushed outside, stopped him, and opened the door myself. I told him that I did not want a chemical cleaner to be used and that I will clean it myself. I said that the grease on the seat was unacceptable. The manager said that this happens sometimes. He then said it came from a device that held the steering wheel when the alignment was done. I said that it should not have happened, and he wanted to argue with me! If the manager had said "sorry" instead of making excuses, I would not be writing this review now. I never raised my voice in the presence of his other customer and actually spoke in a hushed tone when inside. The manager rudely refunded my 59.00, arguing with me the whole time. My daughter and I traveled, from Chicago, Ill to Branson to hear our favorite music the first week in June. We enjoyed a program and when we returned to our car, the gages were lit up. "Check Tires" We found MICHELIN TIRES. What luck ! The manager took and interest in us, checked our tires and discovered we were in need of new tires. Because it was a Mercedes Benz, the required tires were not in stock. The manager drove to Springfield, picked up new tires and installed them. Because this was going to take some time, another mechanic, on staff, drove us to a shopping center while the tires were being picked up and installed. Our entire experience with Michelin Tires was first class. We were taken care of! Being two ladies , in distress, were helped out where I cannot believe any other tire business would have taken an interest of our situation.
