BEWARE. They did not tighten my wheels correctly after getting new brakes. Fortunately, I caught it before my wheel fell off going down the highway with only a couple unbroken lugs holding it on and a cracked ball joint. They stripped bolts on my skid plate during an oil change. They did not tell me, they just let it go for me to figure out later. Lord I with I could put zero stars. If you're on vacation and need anything done to your vehicle go to any other place. Don't waist your time, money, or patience on this place!! We took our car in to get the tires balanced on our little family vacation. All signs were pointing to this being the issue and it was. Before we actually found out that this was the issue a whole slew of things went wrong. We first had to start by pay for the service before it was even actually done and if you have ever been to BOT you know that's not how it's done. So we payed and were told it was done until someone came running out of the shop saying they hadn't even touched the tires yet. We got the tires blanched after almost 2 hours of sitting around. The next day the same signs we were seeing when the tires were out of balance happened again. So we brought it back in but not after an argument with little miss power trip. The manager who wears her hair down and does nothing in the shop but sit there and talk crap about you to whoever may be in charge of this grand establishment is who this post is about. She had a terrible attitude towards customers the entire time we were therej in two days. She should find a better calling in her life rather than customer service. Perhaps a night time prison guard. And just so you're aware little miss power trip nobody wanted a refund until you told us there was no way you could fit us in before Monday when we would be gone. It was a Saturday on 248 and I was out driving when my brakes weren't acting their normal selves. That's when I noticed that my emergency brake was on, but I didn't notice anything unusual till I stopped at a light. I drive by Mitchem but they were closed even though it said they should be open. So I knew there was Big O Tires just up ahead. Even though I had never been there before. I pulled in to see if I could get someone just check it out, because I was afraid to drive it like that. I figured I was in big trouble with my husband when I got home. So I waited and the guy said it was fine, and decided that the brakes may have just gotten too hot. It took less than 10 min for them to get started and only 15 min to finish. The guys were very professional and no problems. Only cost us 12.00 Would recommend them. We were in Branson on the 2023 Fourth of July weekend , traveled out of state to MO. We ended up with an almost flat tire from a nail and drove to the nearest tire place which was Big O Tires in Branson, MO. We limped into Big O tires 10 or 15 min before they closed , my husband asked if they could please plug our tire so we could get back on the road ; the way they treated us was shocking. A man behind the counter suddnely got very angry when my husband asked if they could plug our tie and said " I'm not fixing your stupid tire , it's 10 minutes before we close" - he said this in a hateful, mean way . My husband was a bit shocked but asked if they would at least sell us a plug kit, he then responded and said " No! get outta here, we close in ten minutes! " . With the 2nd hateful response my husband turned and walked out. We went to Walmart four miles away, bought a plug kit and supplies and fixed it ourselves. There was no need to be this hateful to a stranded traveler , and, fixing tires is what they do it would have taken them 10 or 15 minutes to help us. Big O tires in Branson MO are jerks !! read more

I was able to get my 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe in pretty quickly for an oil change. I didn't realize until I went to pick it up that it would be $108.50. Never in my life have I paid so much for a simple synthetic oil change and tire rotation, not even at the Hyundai dealer. We recently moved to the area, so we decided to try a new place. The other day, I was driving, and my oil light came on. I couldn't imagine why because I stay on top of ensuring regular maintenance is done timely on my vehicle. I checked the oil, and there was hardly any in there, and what was in there was burnt. This is a newer vehicle, so it shouldn't be burning oil (I haven't had a problem with this previously), and it's not leaking oil. My only guess is they either shorted me on the oil or didn't put any back in there. Now, I'm starting to wonder if they even did the tire rotation. I understand inflation is a thing, and prices are going up, but this feels like I got scammed. I'd already planned on not going back because I didn't want to pay that much next time, but now I'm furious thinking they either didn't do the oil change they charged me for, shorted me oil, or didn't put any in there. We've been here on three occasions for our son and our car and every time we've been very pleased with the quality we've received. The guys are courteous as well. It's my opinion they're honest which seems hard to find nowadays in an auto shop. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them for more than just tires. They fixed the steering column on my son's car and did an oil change on our truck. We were going to have them replace our front brakes but after inspecting them, they said it wasn't time yet. they could've just lied and replaced them. I was having fuel pressure trouble with my truck on a Saturday. A waitress at Denny's told me Big O Tire might be able to help. I thought a tire and battery place isn't going to have a clue. How wrong I was. These guys are super. They did some pressure testing and found my problem. They were able to get the part right away. They did everything they could to hold the price down and never tried to sell me stuff I didn't need. They actually talked me out of buying stuff I asked for. In all these people are terrific and if I wasn't just passing through I would certainly become a regular here. read more

I took my truck there for an oil change and tire rotation. I had an appointment. They oil change was done ok . the truck was set back outside . And i sat there for 45 minutes after the oil was changed and still had not been called up to pay and get my truck back. I always carry a spare key . I told them I was leaving and if and when they figure out my bill they can call me . I called them and paid over the phone . The service is okay, they do the job. However, the customer service is very sub-par. I have been here twice now, and both times I was told the wait was about an hour. The first time I waited for three hours, and the second time I waited for just under two hours. If they gave me a better time estimate, I could have left to run errands rather than waste my day sitting and waiting. After they were finished working on my car, I got in and immediately could smell that whoever drove my car in and/or out of the shop smoked. AJ was a life saver when we were on vacation and our car overheated and needed repaired. I had called a few other places and they were less then helpful so imagine my relief when AJ said he would look at it that day. Let's just say that our multi-leg road trip from Phoenix to Texas to Missouri and back to Phoenix wasn't without some problems. Unfortunately, one of those problems included a flat on my new-to-me car, and closer inspection showed all four tires were basically a load of poo. I initially went to another shop who had just missed the cutoff for same-day delivery for the tires I needed. I happened to arrive at Big O at just the right time - it wasn't too busy and they were able to get me in quickly. Overall, it took a few hours to mount the four tires and complete the front end alignment (sadly we missed a planned event - no one's fault), but I was glad to have peace of mind that the job was well done and the tires were going to get us back on the road safely. read more

I had scheduled an appointment online and received the confirmation email. took my car in at 9:00 am to have the oil changed and rotation done. 2 hours later I asked what the status was on my car and was told that they didn't have an open bay, however would get my car in as soon as they did. I explained that I had an appointment at 9 and then that's when the receptionist went to ask what was happening. They said I was not on the schedule and they couldn't find my appointment. I explained that I had booked online and received the confirmation email. Something about "oh you booked online" was mumbled and then she went to check the status. So FINALLY at 12:30 my car was done. 3.5 hours later. I have had good experiences with them in the past but because it was just just brushed over so lightly with a "yea we are trying to figure out why we never saw the appointment, it's so strange." I probably will not be back. With the prices they charge I would think they would take this more seriously. read more

Just got my oil changed on 8/22/18 before leaving for a trip to Indiana. On 8/26/18 my mother checked the oil and it's a dark brown color and thicker than what it should be. I will NEVER come to this company again and will no longer to large businesses and stick to a small business for my car needs. Wow. In Branson for sisters weekend & discovered a long screw in my tire (the low tire pressure light was on). The folks @ Wal-Mart told me I'd need a new tire, however the wait was 2 hours, so we headed over to Big O Tire on Highway 248. When I had trouble with one of the tires out of town I was forced to purchase tires at the facility where my car was towed since there was no big O tire store in the area. I brought my old tires back to Branson Missouri and they agreed to refund me for the full price of the tires I purchased. You can't ask for anything better than that! read more
