A new friend introduced us to Mithaiwala K Road. We all had the Chole Bhature and chai tea with milk and sugar. He explained to us that chole is chickpea and bhature is the puffed up bread. The entree also came with full fat plain yogurt and a spicy chutney. He showed us how to eat this dish. Rip off a piece of bhature and dip it into the yogurt or chole, or we can use the bhature to pick up some chole. It was fun and delicious.
I appreciated that there was a hand washing station in the back of the dining area, since this is literally a hands-on eating experience, and it's always a good idea to wash hands before eating anyway.
The seating area is upstairs.
Self-serve water, flatware and napkins/serviettes.
Didn't see a restroom.
Looks like it's operated by a husband and wife team, so service (or lack of) can be on the slower side. read more
