A few months ago, I was plagued with back pain and leg pain where I was unable to walk or stand for more than 5 minutes. After many diagnostic tests, I was diagnosed with spinal stenosis. I was unable to walk, or stand or, do common daily things. Being an avid walker, this greatly hindered my quality of life. I was referred to Dr. Galzarano by a friend. I had been through several therapies, acupuncture, physical therapy, water therapy, therapeutic massages, etc. I decided I had nothing to lose. Just meeting with Dr. Galzarano, for the first time was a pleasant experience. He was kind and seemed skilled in what he did. He asked me all pertinent questions and went to work on my back explaining everyone he did and why he did it. At first I went 3 times a week and after the first week, I saw a little improvement. After a month I was able to stand without the pain. And after another month, I saw a remarkable improvement in my walking. I injured my spine doing a military press on a gym machine in college, in the late 1980s. The problem was diagnosed and misdiagnosed by at least four different doctors, but with time the pain mostly subsided. But occasionally I'd aggravate it, and would be in pain for months afterwards. This went on for over 20 years. I then went to see Dr. Galzarano after an especially bad episode (I was bent over in pain, and couldn't even sit up to get out of bed, I had to roll off the side), and he treated me for a number of months using his gifted techniques. I can safely say that he cured my chronic pain problem, so much so that the actions which used to cause flare ups don't provoke any reaction whatsoever! Today I went in to Dr G. in a lot of pain. I had gotten a cortisone shot in my ankle and knee, and my ankle was hurting even worse than before the cortisone. Dr. G knew exactly what to do! He put this tape on me, said it was new, I can't remember the name of the tape, but that doesn't matter, because Dr G. knew. So he tapes me up, saying he's not sure if it's going to do any good, while I was getting a back treatment. He did it upside down! He followed a diagram but had to figure out how to do it upside down because I was getting a back treatment with electro-stimulus. When finished, Susan came in to unhook me. I stood up and told her how pretty my leg was. I look like Pepe Le Pew in reverse - a black stripe on a very white leg! But you know what? I could walk without pain and without limping!! This is some kind of miracle tape!! I waited for Dr G to finish with another patient and I think I high fived him too hard, but I was so excited!! I've been coming to Dr G since 2006. I was afraid to go to the chiropractor. I was afraid of the "crack" when they turn your neck! But boy was I wrong. The pain on my right side was so bad I had numbness and tingling down into my hand. I couldn't open anything and I couldn't safely lift my niece's baby. I didn't want to take more medicine and months of therapy if I didn't have to. I was very impressed by Dr. Galzarano. In a short three-day visit to Philly I came up with a severe lower back spasm, for the first time ever. I was incapacitated for hours. When I could finally stand up I went to his clinic on February 8th 2014 (after a friends' recommendation). I have been seeing Dr. Galzarano for several years. My original complaint was for head and neck pain and I could feel the difference after the first several visits and continued to improve through the initial phase of treatment.
