The office itself has a large parking lot (but is on a large medical/hospital complex so give yourself 5 extra minutes to walk over), and the actually office itself is updated, well-maintained, and visually appealing. No ripped chairs, dim lighting, or outdated structures here. Also, the front desk ladies are so sweet, they always call you "sweetie" or "honey" and they have that cute Southern charm. I love seeing all the pregnant women here and how nicely every patient is treated. I also like that they are under Piedmont, which means also the MyChart is used. All of your visits across the Piedmont network will show up, which makes it easier to access your results and information.

The doctor that was assigned at the hospital for my son was Dr. Mauer one for he two pediatricians at The Kids Specialist in Stockbridge, GA located 20 miles south of Atlanta. I then decided to stay with them due to the convenience. I booked an appointment with Dr. Clemons and I am so happy I did!! Initial Visit: -Our first visit was GREAT! The front office staff was efficient and helpful with the questions I had. Dr. Clemons was very knowledgeable and extremely good with my newborn son (she even changed his poopy diaper)! Dr. Clemons spent an adequate amount of time with us and we didn't feel rushed at all. Wait Time: The wait time can be fairly long (over and hour) at times which can seem like a bummer. Not for us because I know we will get the same quality service once the doctor arrives. Pros: Can make same day appointments, Hours, Open some Saturdays, Effectiveness, Knowledge of doctor, One on one time Cons: Wait time can be a little long, Front desk staff can seem a little unattached to some (Not to us though)

She is very knowledgeable and always available to answer any questions I may have. Depending on the day wait times can be a drag but is understandable given it is a private practice with only 2 doctors. It is worth the wait especially when you can be seen with same day appointments. The staff is very friendly and go above and beyond to accommodate you. They also remember each kid by name which is nice! I recommend the Kids specialist if you are looking for consistency in a private office with friendly staff.
