The energy is different. The staff actually knows their stuff, they're passionate, and they treat you like family, not just another sale. Whether you're hunting vintage grails, modern heat, sealed product, or looking to trade, they've got you covered. If you're anywhere near Oak Lawn and you love the hobby, you NEED to check out Dragon's Den. Easily one of the best card shops in the area. I'll definitely be back

It has more than most normal people could ever care about or look through. A great place for gifts or finishing off a collection. The prices are hit and miss to be honest. Basic looking store crammed full of games and other toys you have to comb through to find anything. It's got an entire wall of Fun Pops. There's something from almost every cartoon you can think of along with movie characters and whoever. Come trade Pokémon or whatever knockoff cards. They also have a section of vinyl if you're looking for hip music. Find lots of great stuff to buy, or sell to get cash. It's hard to choose only a few things to get. The staff is a bunch of nerds so they know lots of things about quality and value.

The Good: I would pay just to chat with the owners. These guys are a fountain of knowledge when it comes to music, especially Chicago-based music. If anyone can ever pull together the funds to open a Chicago Music Museum, these are the first people you want to talk to. The Bad: The shop needs a deep cleaning. A lot of the music is unaccessible and will take unpacking and "digging" to find what you want. The music that is accessible, for the most part, is not protected by plastic and most items are in "good" to "poor" condition. You will be hard pressed to find any pristine items here. And, unfortunately, prices do not reflect the condition. All items seem to be priced at the high end of the scale. Conclusion: A record shop worth visiting... yes, it is worth the drive if you are not from the area. You will find records you've never seen before, and may never see again, but be prepared to pay higher than online prices.

The workers were really nice and chatted with us while we looked around. Both my husband and I enjoy vinyl so we really enjoyed looking around. My husband picked out a few things, and commented he wants to try to come out here with his dad because he loves the music sold here. If you're looking for a solid place to buy music and love oldies, I'd recommend checking this poace out when you're in the area.

The Exchange is the perfect place to find new/used video games, movies, cds, toys, consoles and more! Everything is organized in sections by type of game or appropriate genre of music or type of movie. It may seem overwhelming at first, but it's almost like a library of all things cool. The staff is super helpful. When you want something, you'll need to ask them for help as everything is behind glass and locked so you don't steal- good call on their part. Prices are reasonable for the most part. Some things like vintage games can be a little pricey but it makes sense. I bought about 6 or 7 old video games from NES Super NES and Sega for $38. I think I did well. They now have a rewards program that's free to sign up for so take advantage of that. I love this place whether I'm in Pittsburgh or Chicago. Definitely will make a trip or two every time I'm here.

Shopping here feels like buy deodorant for 15$. You may like the smell but receipt never makes…read moresense, I hate everything about the store with their prices and I want to just toss this brand buy my own. Again, everything about this store, simply not worth it, if this were a candle store I'd probably never walk back in and this has games. - lack of games - overpriced games - forgetful staff - not useful policies - (Broken games) - jaded staff - theft of discounts and useless membership(literally just giving them extra credit for their stocks and prices, which they will take from you regardless of whether you're a member or not) - (Overpricing for taxes) - The games The scammy, scummy and their games suck, the only reason I'd go back is if their consoles are cheaper than the ones online. They have 200$ games and half a thousand dollar consoles, I rest my case.
