I have had other welds performed on my farm equipment by other folks which have lasted for 10, 15, 20 years without any issues. I never had a weld failure before. His welds failed with less than a dozen hours of standard use and he refused to re-weld his shoddy work. I shouldn't be surprised though... his tractor service work also failed within a couple weeks (after paying him nearly $2,000 for various work on 2 tractors) and he would not stand behind that either (he wanted to charge me $200 extra to re-do what he failed to do right the first time), so I finally had to hire a different local mechanic to do the work correctly. In the end, he arrogantly told me to call someone else if I wanted the work to have a warranty. What a terrible rip-off.

Very hard to reach (months at a time) and even went to their office, which is scary enough, due to how it's very disheveled. Very bad customer service and total lack of professionalism. My side gate was a little wonky because my gardners like to step on the gate handle and jump over, rather than use the key. Yelp recommended a few companies I would have never known to call. Jerry's welding company out of Porterville was one of them, and I am super pleased to have been matched with him. I reached out and Jerry was very responsive. He gave me a few ideas and could have even fabricated a whole new gate. I decided to just work with what I had and his ideas were just what I needed. He even had ideas I had not thought of, such as adding a key pad on the gate that would allow for a code, so it will be easier for my gardners to access the backyard without a key. Jerry was upfront regarding pricing, which allowed me to stay within my project budget. His ideas were a great fix to my problem, and I am extremely happy with the outcome. Owning a home means endless projects. I am happy to know some of my future projects will be well handled by Jerry.
