Owner Rich came out for an estimate on an HVAC install. The estimate was 10K For a 1 day install: with 1 electrical and 1 Hvac. Plus a $550 permit and about $400 in materials. So, if you are an electrician for this company make sure you invoice for about $500/hr! And their HVAC guys, I think its awesome your boss pays you $500/hr. But clients beware, there is a lot of gouging going on. Usually its $150/hr for the technical. And call the suppliers, you'll see the cost of the HVAC equipment is much less than you are being quoted! And other than duct work, its an easy day or two for an install. So do the math, and don't let our community be the place where we pay $ 500/hr for electricians. read more

I met with the owner and received a fair and competitive estimate compared to some other companies that clearly wanted to overcharge me. The installation crew did an excellent job and were personable to deal with. The new outside AC condenser initially had a glitch to workout as it seemed loud at shut off. Last November I decided to get a mini-split. I contacted Pacific.. due to their high ratings and the fact that they served my area. It took quite a while to get any information from them on models and price. I had narrowed it down to a Mitsubishi with an Energy Star rating. I wanted an Energy Star rating for tax reasons. They gave me some marketing material on two models, the more expensive of which they claimed had an Energy Star rating. Before buying it (and it was expensive) I wanted to see the Energy Star rating confirmed in published specifications. After my asking for this a number of times, over the phone and by email, they were never be able to point to the specifications that indicated Energy Star. I eventually moved on and had a different company do the work. I gave Pacific 2 stars since dealing with them was a big waste of time for me and delayed my project. I think they should have been able to back up their claims. Before posting this review I sent an email to Pacific.. letting them know that I was not happy with their service, and why. I did this to give them a chance to explain their point of view. I have had no response. read more

SO THANKFUL!!! This past Monday, as we were preparing a rental property for a new tenant moving in that weekend...the furnace stopped working. I needed to replace my 30 year old furnace and possibly add A/C in my home and was referred to Pacific Heating & Sheet Metal by a friend. I sent them an email and Danielle reached out and called me within a day. She scheduled a technician to come out to provide an estimate. Rich S came out to give me an estimate and let me know what options were available. He spent nearly an hour looking at my current setup educating me on what he had observed in the attic and around the house. James W and his crew came yesterday to install our new gas furnace. We got multiple bids from several highly reputable local companies based on several friends' recommendations and Pacific Heating's bid was the most reasonable. Other companies wanted to upsell us on new duct work, etc., but Pacific Heating did a thorough job speccing the job and saved us a lot of money by using the old duct work. The installers arrived on time and worked throughout the day to install the new equipment. The access to our attic is very small and required many trips through the house to remove the old equipment, but the crew was very efficient while also being careful to make sure nothing got damaged/scratched as they removed material. After the install, James walked us through the new equipment. All the work was well done, neat, clean, and well insulated. Showed up at 8AM and they were out by 5PM. If you need any heating or air conditioner service, look no further! I couldn't be more grateful I found this company. I would recommend them to my friends, my mom or even my grandma! Dan (the owner) is knowledgeable, patient, friendly and honestly wants to help his customers not upsell them. I had another quote from Wighton's and I felt like I was being swindled. When Dan came out, he took the time to explain what needed to be done and why. The quote was reasonable and, after weighing our options, we decided to buy a new air conditioner. They scheduled the work to be done within the week. Jennifer in the office was always super friendly and efficient. If she didn't know the answer, she got back to me within that day or early the next. Our new air conditioner developed an issue and Rich (I believe that's his name) came out and discovered it was our ductwork. This was not a surprise to me as Wighton's had previously told me we needed to redo the whole house's ductwork. We just weren't ready at the time. Dan came out again to our house and was very apologetic that we were experiencing this problem with our ductwork. He offered us a significant discount for the work to be done because he said he felt he should have noticed the ductwork being an issue before they installed the new air conditioner. We scheduled with them to have the ductwork done which was completed within a day and within a week when I tried to schedule it. Within 30 minutes of them leaving, I heard rattling in the ductwork. Rich turned around from 20 minutes away and drove back then spent another hour (on a late Friday afternoon) to make it right. Our experience with Pacific Heating was top notch. Rich and his crew impressed me from the very beginning. Rodents had gotten into our air ducts underneath our mobile home and brought fleas with them. While other companies had refused to help us tackle this very unfortunate situation, Rich didn't hesitate to crawl under our mobile home in order to fully assess the situation and provide us with a free estimate and plan to fix the problem. Even two different exterminators had refused to go under our home!
