He somehow broke the second slab, went back to the place he bought it and got the cheapest thing he could buy and installed it - it is not even the same color........ Also he used on-hand paints because he was to cheap to actually go get the colors we wanted for the bathroom that were not what we wanted and then blamed the lights on the off coloring lol!!!. He told us to go get two slabs that we wanted and we did at a cost of 1K. Today he had the nerve and the audacity to email us asking to send him a check for the finished job - that he did not finish and left us holding this situation. Come back and fix the slab problem you created and paint the walls the color we wanted. Again STAY AWAY!

Throughout the project, he was prompt, communicative, and fair. Sterling and Phil came in and tackled all the quirks of a 100 year old house with experience and humor. When there were additional challenges (previous homeowner had screwed sheetrock over plaster in some places so the walls and ceiling were uneven, counters were not square or level, filled mismatched molding joints with putty) - they took the time to fix the old work and redo it correctly. They worked efficiently, paid attention to detail, and everything turned out beautifully. All three were professional, kind, and respectful throughout. I will definitely call on them in the future.

There are 2 times that I tried to provide concern or feedback on the project and Dan yelled at me in a disrespectful manner, basically he told me to step out of his way and he had the right to do whatever he want because he runs the project. This made me pretty unhappy and felt disrespected as a homeowner. His office manager is much nicer to talk to and maybe she communicated with Dan and it did not happen again.
