Have used Enrique's Tile for my former San Ramon home - he installed marble all throughout my ground floor. For my Danville home - I had hideous colored concrete floor for the Italian/Mediterranean home. I upgraded/renovated and had Enrique's Tile install travertine. I love marble but the maintenance is just too much (3 teenagers and 2 cats) unlike the travertine. Still beautiful, natural stone but less maintenance. Embarrassed to admit that I did not hire a "real" contractor to do a tile job and he royally messed it up. I lost half a nights sleep stressing out about it so the next morning (on a Sunday no less) I woke up and started looking at Yelp Reviews and for someone to come and tear out the tile mess and fix it. I've never had professional tile work done before and was admittedly a little nervous. I was having them re-do my existing brick fireplace by covering it with large porcelain tile to imitate the look of concrete. I was a little worried that I wasn't making my vision clear (when explaining to my husband, mother, the folks at the tile store...) but Enrique seemed to grasp it immediately and confidently. Roberto and Juan are amazing! We have hired them three times now, and we will continue to rely on them for our renovation needs. I was originally a little nervous about picking out all of the tile, but Roberto is very responsive to questions and helped me find everything that we needed. Enrique and his team do quality work quickly and reasonably. They will help with design decisions and the results are amazing. He has done 2 bathrooms for us and is the only one will call for future work. They did the tile work in our master bath shower and tub surround and we love it. The access panel for the tub is invisible. They also redid our hall bathroom in 5 days starting with the demo on Monday morning to beautifully finished bathroom by Friday afternoon. The tile installation in our very large master bath is absolutely amazing. I would have to say it is PERFECT! We just had Roberto install all the tile in our bath, with a pattern running through it, on the floors, 4 feet up the walls, and in the entire new walk-in shower. This had a labor intensive pattern inset, both on the floor and directly under the beautiful trim pieces at the top of the 4 ft wall tile. The expertise in his work is visible immediately, and the care and attention to every detail is quickly apparent. He even came up with the idea for a wall inset behind the free-standing bath tub, that he tiled and then put a piece of the granite used on the vanity as the back. It adds a very custom look that we hadn't thought of, and now gives us a place to put bottles and other items. We were very appreciative of the way he went about the job, committing to doing just this job from start to finish. He showed up every day and didn't stop until the job was completed. His price was very competitive, and the quality of work that we received for the price is impressive. We would not hesitate to use Roberto again for any other tile or flooring job that we may have, and we will recommend him whole-heartedly to anyone looking for superior workmanship, at an incredibly fair price. read more
