Since being here in South France, the choices in cuisine is limited to say the least. If I have to eat another pizza or sandwich I'm gonna break up the changing of the guard so they can just shoot me and put me outta my misery.
Surprising not much seafood. Hey guys, see that big ocean! There's nice little fishies and yummy tasty water creatures for my consumption! Can I get a super steak and shrimp burrito with extra sour cream? Or how about a Venti Americano for this Americano? No more little espressos, my fat finger can't even fit in the little finger part, and I'm not gonna stick my pinky out, I'm not that kind of guy..
So passing by Citadelle, I noticed there were no sandwiches or pizza on the menu. What I did see is Duck, Lamb, Beef, and chicken. Say no more! You had me at hello. Here's what I ordered:
Salad: it was a really good salad. I'm glad I ordered it. It came with hard boiled egg, tuna, and I believe anchovies. With of course tomato and lettuce.
The mixed grill kebob: it was only one piece of each of the four meats, Duck, lamb, chicken, and beef. It was grilled perfectly and came with French fries. But I'm an over weight American guys, can I get more meat? How am I gonna maintain my food gut with one kebob?
Good food. Just not enough. I guess I'll be stopping by the pizzeria on the way back to the hotel... read more
