I was told by an employee at Mobil 1 express on 56th street in Langley that I needed new differential oil. He showed me a jar of black sludge with metal filings in it and told me that it was a sample he took from my differential. I had my differential oil changed a couple of months previous so i took my vehicle back to where the differential oil was changed. They drained the oil and it was clean like it was put in as if it was put in yesterday. I emailed the owner (Adam Coleman) who said that this happens with toyota tacomas. I have talked to other mechanics and they have informed me that this explanation is absurd. I have read other reviews similar to mine and I would not hesitate to warn anyone that Adam Coleman I a seasoned con artist. read more

I moved to Langley about a year and half ago and was looking for a place to have my car serviced I vent to mobil one on 56th ave and Langley bypass for a oil change and lube After my 3 oil change I was quite happy with the service But then my forth time all that went out the window, they worked on the car an extra half hour with out an explanation When they finally finished the fellow in charge of the oil change came to me with an envelope with my drain pluck in it and explained to me that it was damaged and they could not repair it So after following their advice I took the car to another shop and they said it could not be fixed Two more mechanics also informed me that it could not be fixed without replacing the oil pan I then went back to mobil one and they told me they would not pay for the repair. So now I am going to get it fixed at a reputable shop and I will go to small claims court to recover my money I have tried to talk to the owner about this but he refused to talk to me This is just to let everybody know that mobil one is not the place to get any work done The fact that they could not even respond to me shows that they don't care about their reputation, and don give a damn about they customer read more

Mobil1 does not stand behind their work I had 2 snow tires put on the car. 10 minutes after leaving I received a low pressure warning on a tire. I checked with a gauge it was one of the tires they had put on the rim. (when they took the tire off the rim in the spring it was fine). I returned to the shop. They told me I could get back in line and it would be about 90 minutes. I said I would take off the tire and give it to them. They said that would be 3 hours to get to the tire. Then when presenting your advertised coupon for vacuum and wash, I was made to feel I was inconveniencing your colleague. I was told to go to the other location for a vacuum and wash? I required an oil change for my work van and thought to stop here seeing that it was a drive through style oil change shop. The initial pull up beside the Super Save Gas station was fairly easy and being 5:50 pm there was a 15 minute wait until I was next so no worries. A gal working there named Crystal was friendly and offered a newspaper and a coffee while I was waiting which was nice while waiting in line. The staff who work here run like a well oiled machine (no pun intended) as one is in the pit an the other two workers are under the hoods so things move pretty quick. My technician was named Casey and he was very good at going over everything in regards to warranty maintenance such as oil, transmission oil change, radiator fluids, and so on. Although I only came for an oil change he was thorough with everything and a few things needed some attention such as the transmission fluid and the air filter requiring to be changed. I mentioned that the only thing that my supervisor from work authorized was oil changes and that's all but the technician was insisting that it required these two items to be changed out even to the point of wanting me to actually call my office to get approval. To be honest in completely satisfied with the service and detail the staff put into the oil change and the factory warranty required maintenance but the semi over aggressive sale pitch made me conflicted read more

The service was excellent, quick and very reasonable. They pointed out an issue with our tires which we did not know about. Chris suggested replacing tires with an all season snow rated tire. Very competitive pricing on tires and a good package. Nick was thorough with inspecting under the hood and suggested a cabin filter replacement. Bought my car 4 months ago from a dealer, my car has 103000km when I went in for an oil change and they pushed me to get my transmission flush even after I told them it was done before I bought my car. Went for an oil change yesterday...I was tight for time. They had a truck in the bay ahead of me. From the time the hood was closed....lots of talking...to taking the payment was 10 minutes. At this time I decided to back up and leave. They work really slow and the pace does not change. As my husband says they don't care that you left...they aren't paid per vehicle so I just gave them time to do nothing. read more
