I don't like using the card at the pump they charge your card a certain amount and then refund it back after 3-4 days. So, I went up and asked him to swipe the card, he starting yelling at me, telling me that it was easier to swipe at the pump. I explained that I didn't want them to charge my card any extra amount to clear the purchase. He said he never heard of that. Just because you never heard of something doesn't make it untrue. Eventually, he swipe my card. So, my daughter tried to pump the gas and she was unable to. So, I realize that a lot of the station in this area you have to tell what grade of gas you want. So, I went up to him and ask what grade did he select he said regular, I state we would like silver. He started yelling you told me regular. I told him-I didn't tell you anything, because he never asked. He was to busy trying to get me to swipe at the pump. He assumed I wanted regular gas. i asked if he could change to silver grade, he didn't know how apparently, because he said no he could change the grade. I told him to just put the money back on my card, we're going some where else. That was the worst experience I've ever had at a BP Station, I always use BP. I'll never go to that BP again. The guy was just being lazy and wanted to play with his phone-not do his job.

Having this station near a major beltway exit is golden. The gas pumps are always working, the premises are clean, and it's well lit. I booked an appointment for service to my snowblower. When the tech came, he started working on it…read moreand then told me I needed a new choke switch. Never once said anything about anything else. Got a message saying I needed the choke switch and a new carb. The service PM I was getting was a full service. Oil change, spark plug, carb cleaning, belt inspection, etc. The choke switch was replaced and new carb installed. Tech told me via text that he was done and machine was running good. Upon coming home from work, I started looking over machine. Oil was black, spark plug was rusty (so never changed) and the bolts to the cover were dusty so no inspection was completed. When I sent pics, I was told that he didn't change the spark plug bc the machine ran good. They offered to come back but at this point all trust was lost. I paid for the parts but that was it. Yes, the machine starts good but after using it during this snow, the carb is leaking fuel and it does not throttle up at all so were there any adjustments made. I have to stay in #1 and go very slow. To top it all off, I went back and saved all my ring footage and watched what the tech did. Let's just say that the footage don't match what they told me was done. The owner told me that I didnt need to pay but I wanted to pay for the parts as I'm not that type of person. The reason for the review is because how many others do they do this to. If you pay for service, you should get the service you paid for and not what they think. Now I need to take it somewhere else to get it fixed correctly.

Very mid 90's multiple car was units to park your car and clean it. The market is clean. Auto supplies right up front at the register. Typical cold drinks and bagged snacks. There is a lot of hot food competition at yhis intersection so I'm not surprised BP didn't partake in selling any. Not for certain if there is a bathroom, definitely something I will look into next time. Overall it's a gas station there isn't too much you can really as for and, the things you would want from a gas station they have. If you're in the area definitely check them out if you happen to be running low.

Today, on my way home from school, I stopped at this Shell gas station to get a drink. As I viewed…read morethe array of beverages I noticed that only a couple had signs indicating the price, both of which were over my $1.55 cash budget. I asked the employee "Are there any diet drinks that are under $1.55?". He told me that all drinks were at least $1.75, other than the .99 cent, non-diet, child size, "Little Hugs". So, I got my Visa debit card out of my car and paid for a diet peach Snapple. I was a little surprised when the subtotal came to $2.15 for one drink but I paid it anyway and asked for the receipt. When I got into my car I looked over my receipt and saw that I was charged .20 cents for a "credit/debit fee". I hadn't ever heard of this fee, unlike some of the other financial disadvantages I've experienced from trying to make purchases with my debit/credit card, such as a store requiring a minimum five to ten dollar purchase or being charged ten cents more per gallon than the advertised gas price. My intuition told me that something wasn't right about this "credit/debit fee" that I was charged and after doing some research, my instinct proved to be true. Visa states that "Retailers are permitted to apply a surcharge to only credit card purchases and cannot impose a surcharge for purchases made using a debit or prepaid card.". So, by Shell charging me twenty cents for paying with my debit card they are ultimately stealing from me. As Visa highly suggests doing, I will be reporting these unjust charges to my debit card company and hopefully others will begin reporting these criminals as well.
