Before the service, I gave Kelly a list of everything I wanted checked and fully expected to spend a few thousand dollars getting everything done. I assumed all the fluids on my list would need to be replaced. Later that day, Kelly personally called me and explained that several of the fluids actually did not need replacement yet and because of that, he did not charge me for unnecessary work. I've had a few different cars over the past year, but I've always kept the same contact information and membership details. Today, August 23, I came in around 7 PM after working all week and was looking forward to finally getting my car washed. I had updated my payment card about a week ago, but was told my payment had declined. I would have gladly paid the $15 again, but I had accidentally left my wallet at home. I explained that I've been a paying member for months and asked if they could please let me through just this once so I could fix the payment issue afterward. The female employee I spoke with was extremely rude and wouldn't work with me at all. I understand that businesses have policies, and I'm not saying employees should just give away free washes. What bothered me was the complete lack of customer service or willingness to help a longtime paying member over a $15 wash. It felt like that $15 was more important than keeping someone who has been paying every month and would have continued doing so. Between the repeated payment issues and consistently rude interactions with employees, I'm seriously considering canceling and going somewhere else. I don't live nearby and have no intention of making a special trip back just to get a car wash. I asked for a refund, but the employee said that wasn't possible because they were closed. She then pointed out that the car wash hours were posted on a small sign near the exit. Unfortunately, a sign at the exit does nothing to warn customers before they purchase a car wash at the pump. If the car wash is closed, the pumps should not be selling car wash tickets, or customers should at least be clearly warned before completing the purchase. This experience was frustrating and left a poor impression. The cost and inconvenience of driving back exceed the value of the car wash itself. Because of how this was handled, I do not plan to return to this station.

He basically just told me no and laughed. The girl behind me in line said the same thing happened to her last time. I will be following the instructions on the sign, filing a complaint with the state of California. I actually catch a break... I actually find a deal... That break, that deal was found at Sam's Fuel on Thousand Oaks Blvd. in the city of Thousand Oaks. During the last couple of years while all other gas stations in the surrounding area (including Costco which is usually the cheapest) were charging an arm and leg for gasoline, somehow, someway and for some reason... Sam's Fuel ALWAYS was wayyyyy cheaper!!! Sure, most of the time there is somewhat of a wait to get to the actual pumps, but I assure you the money you will save is well worth your time. My advice, come later in the evening; you will most likely be able to pull right in and fill your tank up all while saving a little green.
