I assumed all the fluids on my list would need to be replaced. Later that day, Kelly personally called me and explained that several of the fluids actually did not need replacement yet and because of that, he did not charge me for unnecessary work. Today, August 23, I came in around 7 PM after working all week and was looking forward to finally getting my car washed. I had updated my payment card about a week ago, but was told my payment had declined. I would have gladly paid the $15 again, but I had accidentally left my wallet at home. I explained that I've been a paying member for months and asked if they could please let me through just this once so I could fix the payment issue afterward. The female employee I spoke with was extremely rude and wouldn't work with me at all. I understand that businesses have policies, and I'm not saying employees should just give away free washes. What bothered me was the complete lack of customer service or willingness to help a longtime paying member over a $15 wash. It felt like that $15 was more important than keeping someone who has been paying every month and would have continued doing so. Between the repeated payment issues and consistently rude interactions with employees, I'm seriously considering canceling and going somewhere else. The sign literally says that it's against California law to charge for air when you pump gas as well, I'd only put a dollar out of the three dollars in, I told the clerk since I'm pumping gas, can you turn on the air machine? He basically just told me no and laughed. The girl behind me in line said the same thing happened to her last time. I will be following the instructions on the sign, filing a complaint with the state of California. It's only three dollars, sure, but it's not right behavior to make an extra couple bucks after I just pumped $50 in gas.

I actually catch a break... I actually find a deal... That break, that deal was found at Sam's Fuel on Thousand Oaks Blvd. in the city of Thousand Oaks. During the last couple of years while all other gas stations in the surrounding area (including Costco which is usually the cheapest) were charging an arm and leg for gasoline, somehow, someway and for some reason... Sam's Fuel ALWAYS was wayyyyy cheaper!!! Sure, most of the time there is somewhat of a wait to get to the actual pumps, but I assure you the money you will save is well worth your time. My advice, come later in the evening; you will most likely be able to pull right in and fill your tank up all while saving a little green. Generally, I've found them to be 10-20 cents a gallon cheaper than the Mobil in town. - Great snack shop. Who doesn't get the munchies before a road trip?
