Milo's Tacos serves fresh, homemade tacos, tortas, burritos, huaraches, and smaller breakfast burritos along with nachos, chips, chips, homemade salsa, guacamole, etc. I have had the huevos con chorizo burrito for breakfast a number of times and today tried the steak burrito for lunch. The breakfast burrito is terrific, as is the gargantuan steak burrito. One might think it is a bit pricey for a gas station with tacos for $3.99 apiece burritos for $12 breakfast burritos for $6.99, with a quality is superior to most Mexican restaurants in the Lake Geneva/Delavan area, and I have tried most of them. I cannot wait to get through more of the menu on future visits.

(They have that too) but these meals looked great and I'm thinking we may stop and buy a few before we head back to Chicago. I thought we had an account here but when we entered my phone number it didn't come up so the attendant explained that it is probably the stores that start with a q. He gave me the application and entered my phone number to get points for this first purchase. He was very nice and helpful. I wish we had these near where we live in Chicago. They always have specials on both hot food and grocery items, usually, something to eat for a buck like a cheeseburger, grilled cheese, or egg roll, way better than most gas station food. Milk and bread are usually a bargain as well. Kwik Trip was early in the store brand game, so you'll find a lot of quality snack foods with their own names on them for less than the big brands. Washrooms are always spotless. The company is an amazing growth story, when I first started visiting them in Lacrosse, WI, they had three stores. Now 800+ in WI, IL, IA, and MN.

In this economy, where gas is nearly $5…read morea gallon and the cost of living is already through the roof, we decided to drive up to Lake Geneva because it was supposed to be cheaper, especially since we had fuel points to use. Instead, this turned into one of the most frustrating experiences I've ever had at a gas station. First, Kwik Trip took ALL of the money out of my account. I went to use my fuel discount and was only able to get $1.25 worth of gas before it stopped working. Not only did I barely get any gas, but my entire $.65 off reward was completely wasted. Then I found out they placed a $100 hold on my account. On top of that, they also charged the $1.25 AND another $2.25 separately. So now I'm stuck missing over $100 from my account for basically no gas at all. To make matters worse, the employees told us there was "nothing they could do" and that we had to call corporate. Of course, when we called, corporate was already closed. So we were left stranded with our money tied up, no answers, and no help. People are already struggling enough financially right now. Holding over $100 hostage from customers who are just trying to buy gas is unacceptable. Kwik Trip seriously needs to fix this system and train employees on how to actually help customers when these issues happen. I will absolutely think twice before ever stopping at a Kwik Trip again.

The woman at the sandwich station hates her job. My sister brought the sandwiches to my house one…read moretime and they were great. I've tried getting sandwiches in person twice and have felt unwelcome both times trying to order a sandwich. If you don't like your job- quit. If you need more staff because you're busy- hire more. There was one person checking out ahead of me and they said "it's going to be a few minutes". So I politely waited to hand my papers to the women making the sandwiches. I was looking down at their cheese selection and out of the corner of my eye I see a hand shaking toward me. She did not say a word to me but I handed her my papers because she had an annoyed look her face while shaking her hand at me. I told her to cancel my order because I didn't do anything to deserve to be treated that way. We will not be back- I'm supposed this place is able to stay in business with the way they treat their customers. It feels like they're going out of their way to make us a sandwich. Find a new job.

The sign with the cost of fuel is blocked by trees, which is a major turn off for me when choosing where to stop for gas. I don't get the cleanest vibe when I walk in the store to pay for gas. I've never shopped here, just gas because I'm in a big hurry every time I have to stop here, so I can't say whether or not the store is clean. I generally try to make it to the Woodman's gas station in Beloit because they are typically 30¢/gal cheaper, but for some reason, today they were the same price. Really though, why would they have placed the fuel cost sign behind trees when they first opened this gas station? There are better places it could have been placed on the property, so that seems rather shady to me...no pun intended .
