Dr. Dragana is a great veterinarian and advocate for animals and their owners. I am so happy I found her.

I cannot praise Steve enough for his kindness and compassion during a tragic time for our family…read more Our sweet boy, Boss, was killed by a car Tuesday night, the week of thanksgiving, we found him around 11 pm on the side of the road. Not knowing what to do in a panic, I googled pet cremation and came across Carolina Pet Cremation. On the website it said 24 hour service was available and you could call or text anytime. I honestly didn't expect an answer this late, the day before a holiday, or to be able to take him anywhere that late but I texted to see and almost immediately he responded. Steve said he'd wait there for us to arrive (we were an hour away), it was after 1 am when we finally arrived. Steve was so patient and kind with us. We said our goodbyes and handed out sweet boy over to him. He had Boss ready by 2 pm on the next day before he left to go out of town. Our Bossie Boy was 10 years old. He may have been small but his place in our heart is huge.

Giles died on Christmas day, and it was warm, I was so upset I almost used the other service…read morebecause they said they picked up, but it turns out they were deceptive about prices and they had two very bad stories in the reviews. So I called Steve and got him directly. He told me to take Giles to a local vets Carefirst, that he uses for his facility. I took him there the next day, They were so kind to me, let me have as much time as I needed, held me and let me tell stories. They held Steve in the highest regard. I didn't expect all I got, besides the personal care for me, I got what you see in the pictures that have been posted. I would recommend this a thousand times!

My boyfriend and I have been to BluePearl twice for emergencies. We were so scared when our dog,…read moreSparta, had a syncopal episode after a coughing fit in September 2025, and the veterinary staff were incredibly kind and thorough in running tests, talking us through treatment options, and providing medication for us to use until we were able to get in to see our usual vet. Six months later, we ended up at BluePearl at 2:00am because our dog kept coughing and couldn't settle. We were absolutely unprepared to find out how sick he was and to lose him hours later. Dr. Schuber, Sarah, Matt, John, and the rest of the staff at Blue mPearl were and are heroes. They fought for Sparta in ways that we couldn't and cared for him, as well as for us, in an impossible time. Dr. Schuber walked us through every part of the diagnosis, the treatment, and the aftercare, and she balanced honest, transparent communication with immense empathy and compassion. She and the other staff gave us stools to sit with our boy while he underwent treatment, gave us cups of water to encourage us to maintain some semblance of self-care, and kept us informed at every step. When it came time to say goodbye, Dr. Schuber put down a blanket on the floor so we could hold him, and she sat with us the whole time. They gave us privacy to grieve in another room for as long as we needed. We were never rushed, never financially taken advantage of, never deprived of a moment we could've safely spent with our boy; we and Sparta were treated with the utmost care and respect at every turn. Afterwards, we were gently walked through the paperwork and told the clay and ink pawprints and noseprints, as well as the fur clippings, would be ready same-day. They told us we could pick them up any time, so I did that the following day, and they gave us three beautiful ink pawprints and thorough instructions on how to bake the clay imprints. A few hours after I drafted this review, Dr. Schuber called us to give us the preliminary findings from the necroscopy. It's been two and a half days, and we weren't expecting to have any answers this soon. She cared so deeply about finding out what happened and wanted to share everything with us as soon as possible so we could know that there's nothing that we could've done to change the outcome. With that information, we also know without a doubt that she did the best she possibly could with his care, and we will forever be grateful for that. This has been one of the most difficult situations for us to endure, and I know the BluePearl staff feel that too. I know Dr. Schuber and the staff didn't lose him in the same way that we did, but I could see them grieving all the same. Thank you, Dr. Schuber, Sarah, Matt, John, and everyone else at BluePearl, for taking care of our sweet boy.

Yes, emergency vets are expensive, but it was worth what we paid to address my pet's emergency. I hope you never need an emergency vet, but if you do, BluePearl is a good choice.
