She takes time to listen to my concerns and finding problem on my body. The massage performed outstanding, from neck to feet, worked all the joints, absolutely relaxing and totally felt my body is on the good hands. The room is clean and cozy. The music is relaxing. I did fell in sleep for a few seconds during massage, but forcing myself to not sleep thru, so I could enjoy the massage. I purchased a 90 minutes massage and she performed fully 90 minutes massage. I very appreciated she did that and made every minute worth. After the massage, she told me both of my legs has problem, then she demonstrate two exercise to me, so I could do it at home to improve my legs. Seriously, I noticed my legs have problem, but ever told to anyone. This is the first time ever someone pointing it out to me and how to improve it. Heather is now ranked #1 on my list out of other 12 massage therapists. I definitely recommend her to everyone, my friends and family.

I went here a few months back, every two weeks. There were a few times (before she changed her…read morecancellation policy) that I had to reschedule an appointment I had the following day, I would reschedule it anywhere from 72 hours before to 12 hours before my scheduled massage. She amended the policy saying you had to give 24 hours advance notice (understandably) & a month or so after the policy was changed I had a family emergency & couldn't make it. My daughter had a big seizure & we had to go to the hospital. I texted her as soon as I knew. Mind you, I hadn't had an issue since she updated her policy. The next week I tried to reschedule & it said I had to reach out, so I did. We talked on the phone & she mentioned the times I had to reschedule the times before she made changes to her cancellation policy. I countered with once she changed it there hasn't been a problem until I had an emergency. She proceeded to tell me I need to have child care lined up, moms deserve their time too, her mom had a special needs dependent, I could t use my daughter as an excuse.. just so far out of line. She said I could only come in if someone else cancelled last minute & I could fill in their spot. It isn't possible with 4 kids, I can't drop what I'm doing to go to someone's cancelled appointment.. I wish. The whole convo was wild & out there. I gave a two star instead of one because she is a good at massages.. it actually took me a few months to even speak on this, I was really just trying to reflect before I left a poor review.. Since I can't directly reply, I'll have to update to say you did in fact say something about my children as an excuse & I never did a same morning cancellation, it's not even possible to do on the app. The one time I had no choice I had to call/text you to cancel. I couldn't cancel it otherwise.. I'm glad you feel okay with your choice, I do as well.. you don't have to lie about it. Good luck with your business!

If you haven't had a medical massage yet, you really need to try one out. I don't even get…read moretraditional massages anymore. I'd rather have my girl Tyea(she's a wizard)go straight to work on my problem areas rather than have someone blindly go over my whole body with broad strokes like you will get in an old school massage. It's like a scalpel vs a samurai sword. My body gives me a lot of good feedback in the way of endorphins/oxytocin/etc when I get some nice focused pressure right on some scar tissue or super tight areas, so I much prefer the precision that these types of massages offer. Feeling good during the massage is great, but the real benefit is the aftereffects. Since coming to see Tyea several areas have improved. Things just work better. I can stretch my diaphragm more deeply, more core engagement, gait is faster and longer, more external rotation of my hips and shoulders, knees don't hurt when I get up after sitting long periods, no more neck pain, mewing is better(tongue posture), no more peripheral neuropathy, less scar tissue, just to name a few things. Most people have no idea how good they could feel, and that they have adapted and gotten used to a certain level of dysfunction. It's easy to do in today's world. Glad I have some amazing tools in my toolbox like this to help me stay on my grind

As requested, I arrived a bit early for my appointment in order to fill out informational health paperwork. After completing the paperwork, Pilma asked questions about any concerns and areas that needed focus, what type of pressure, etc., which I informed her about. She kindly assisted me to a therapy room with that was very tastefully decorated with various pieces of art, subdued lighting and soothing music which provided a very calming atmosphere. Her nicely padded treatment table is the most comfortable I've ever been on and I was able to breath easily while on my stomach and importantly, I didn't experience any back pain from being on the table after my session. During my treatment, Pilma was very careful massaging and stretching me; she frequently inquired about my pain level (I have Osteoarthritis) and the pressure level she was applying. Not once during my massage, did she cause me to flinch in pain as she was very much in tune with her observations which I very much appreciated. My massage session with Pilma, who was so kind and compassionate, was up before I knew it and she helped me sit up and also offered me a cool bottle of water and recommended to drink plenty of fluids the rest of the day. From my very positive experience with Pilma today, I can see why she has so many wonderful customer reviews. Lori was able to get me in the day after I called. She's really good at what she does. She really got in deep and used trigger point to work out the knot in both my shoulders. She always manages to work out any problems I bring up.. and will even find problem spots that I hadn't even noticed before. All the big name massage spas and whatnot may be a little cheaper, but you don't get anywhere near the quality that you get here. I'm more than willing to fork over a few extra dollars for a massage that blows away even the "top notch" resort spa massages I've had!
