In less than 3 months after they installed a stero, a little amp behind my seat and a shitty little camera on the tail of the back of my truck everything went to s**t. The volume would randomly turn the music super loud and then silent over and over after I would hit any bumps in the road. As well as the amp gets too easily I fear it's gonna start a fire. I had to replace the battery and Alternator. All this happened so closely together that I never went back to them. read more

Ok....I have officially become part of the New Orleans citizenry .Due to a lapse in judgment and too many scotches, I left my car unlocked overnight. Some enterprising little fucks opened my car, and went into my glove box and stole the head unit for my car stereo. The good thing is they did no damage to the interior of the vehicle, but I digress. The folks at Mobile One made replacement of my car stereo painless. They fixed me up with the updated version of my unit, and did the install in less than a half hour. Their showroom is spacious and has a plethora of car audio equipment. The sales staff were attentive and courteous. The installer was efficient and pleasant. He did a stellar job, smiling all the way. Sure, the cost of the unit was just a little higher than Amazon, but it was worth every extra penny. I went to this place to get my windshield tinted. The job looked terrible when I left, and it fell off a few hours later. I showed the tinter the next morning, and he promised to re-do the job and even do a little extra for me at no charge due to the inconvenience. A few weeks later, I called to schedule the job, and he explained what he planned to put a piece of vinyl over my windshield, which is very illegal. I refused, and he said he couldn't do anything for me. A few days later, they refused to refund my money. A few days after that...after a call to the owner, they agreed to give me a refund. I have had work done there in the past. The audio installation is decent (if you're willing to deal with the attitude from the staff). The selection is a little weak, and they seem to focus more on home televisions than mobile electronics. This review is for the Metairie location only. Making it my personal mission to let EVERYONE in New Orleans know about these con-artists! I have a 2008 F-150. Not exactly a rare or unique vehicle. So, one would think that any technician familiar with installs would know EXACTLY what he's in for on an install regarding this truck. I needed my amp power wire replaced. Was quoted $60. I believed this to be a fair price. So, I gave them the go-ahead on it. 45 minutes later, everything was done. My stereo was back working. Then, I was given the bill... $208.74!!! Ok. Let's assume that they had to charge me for a new install wiring kit and the labor was the $60 originally quoted. That still only comes to $150. They charged me for a FULL AMP INSTALL knowing full good and well that all they had to do was replace the one wire. Not to mention the fact that $90 for less than 10 feet of 4 gauge wire seems excessive. But, it is what it is. $9/ft. Another $10 "shop fees" then, $100 labor. How do you quote $60 in labor on the front end then turn around and jack that price by 66% when the job is completed??? Contacted Paul Campo, the owner. His response: "You are an ungrateful customer". DUDE, that takes some serious nerve. Over-inflated ego much??? I have nothing to be grateful for. I was the one paying for a service. Never once did I ask his associates to go above and beyond or do ANYTHING special for me. If I had, then maybe I would be beholden to them/him. Bottom line... If you want to get ripped off, these are the guys to see. read more

Then when my face got stolen then helped me pick a compatible face to replace it with. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful and the service is quick and high quality.
