For brevity, I'll simply provide a list of what I know about Rob: Tangibles: - Great mechanic - Knows boats - power, performance, history of quirks/tendencies - Dependable - what he commits to, he delivers Intangibles: - Memory (beyond boats) is uncanny - years ago I stopped saying, "you work on a lot of boats so I wouldn't expect you to remember..." I stopped because he remembers your name, boat and what he has done to it. - Knows the Lake - Very careful/mindful of your boat while it's in his care - ex: he takes off his shoes when in your boat. Who does that? - Honest/trustworthy - I don't know if it's instinctual or purposeful, but he gets it. The only way to be successful for as long as he has; ya gotta be honest & trustworthy.

The morning we got there was cold rainy but we were dressed for the weather no big deal So we make our way down to this boat with our captain. I take a look at the pontoon we are getting on and I'm telling my husband it's too small 6 people in our group and then you have a Captain and his mate so 8 people on a 21 ft pontoon. But we are here so we are going to make the best of it right we was all excited. Some of the people in our group have never fished before. So instead of the Captain explaining himself what is happening he proceeds to take off flying down the river and then gets to a spot and starts putting poles in the water so fish start biting right away! And right away he starts screaming at people get up grab a pole you guys wanna fish right. So I did I was the first to jump up and grab poles meanwhile you could hardly walk around I think we had 9-10 poles in the water and he had about 12 or so sitting in on the side of the boat also so literally no room it was a hazard the captain was very rude and would constantly make several rude jokes about people from WV. The mate or the helper I'm not sure of the correct title he's uses his name was Mark and he was great with us all. He helped get fish off our lines and rebait any questions he was so helpful. Jim was our captain. And we will never book another fishing trip with him! We was truly disappointed in what was suppose to be a really fun trip. We did manage to catch a lot of fish to being home. I hope on our next adventure there is a positive one. . The good part we caught alot of fish and Mark was an amazing guy who helped us all. They also have a nice little store at the Marina that has clothes and snacks and prices aren't too bad. The guy in there was very nice also. We bought some rain gear. So we will most definitely visit again but will not recommend going with Jim.

The process was great, including a test drive and on water orientation. When I started this process of buying a boat, I called a few places that seemed less than interested in going thru the process of truly selling me a boat. I called Lake Country spoke with Jacob and the rest was easy sailing. I work long hours so having a salesperson I can trust was priceless. The front gate and bathrooms have a lock on them and they are supposed to change the code every month and email you the updated code...except that they don't. Tonight we were out on our boat late, packed up only to find that we couldn't get out the front gate. There is a sign on the gate instructing to call 911 to get out. We actually had to call 911 to get out?! I don't understand how the sheriff puts up with that arrangement. What an abuse of 911. The guy who came to let us out said it happens quite frequently. I'm not sure I would rent here again.

They leave no doubt in your mind that they are committed to providing you honest customer service and making sure your boating needs are met. They are friendly and professional and go the extra mile. I have dealt with many dealer over the years and they are the gold standard that every boat dealer should strive to be. Purchased a used boat from Gary and he personally made sure that it was in A1 shape before leaving the lot. A couple of issues came up and his mechanic, who was very impressive, diagnosed and fixed the problem in short term. Although I live 40 miles from PBI I will take the boat back to them for any service or repairs in the future. You should make this the first stop on your boat buying journey!

great lake for paddling or fishing…read more lots of smaller largemouth bass, but a developing population of larger ones. no gas motors are allowed. concrete boat ramp with a small floating dock and attached canoe/kayak launch. even when the parking area is crowded, I've never seen it full. & the lake looks empty even when the parking is full. limited shore fishing. some picnic tables & such. there are restrooms on the hill above the boat ramp. only flaws are a population of wasps at the dock that repeated complaints to the County have not resolved, and a tendency for all-about-me folks to park along the ramp (which is NOT a parking area, except for the small handicap area) or leave their vehicles there for extended periods.

Lake Mooney is technically a reservoir but it definitely has that lake feel and is perfect for…read morefishing or kayaking. Gas motor boats are not allowed; only electric motors are permitted on the lake. There's a boat ramp that is easy to get to. A few benches also line the shore. This is a great place for a picnic. I personally enjoy visiting late in the afternoon, as you can watch the sun set.
