I was truly blown away by the amount of TIME that she devoted to me. She had compassion and gave me undivided attention, and actively listened to my issues from beginning to end in order to understand where I am now and how she can help me. Though I know she has probably treated my issues 1000 times, I felt like I was her first case...(for once, a PT who wasn't trying to tell me how I feel or hurry me up!) What a breath of fresh air! I feel like I got a real education on tendens and muscles and ligaments and this really helps me understand what I can do to speed up my healing. I can't say enough about how awesome my visit was. She worked me hard and it hurt so good!! The front desk staff, Yaneth and Ecole have been wonderful as well--helping me get in sooner than originally thought, so I can start my healing! Two major surgeries for my daughter at 16 and then again at 17 years old. From the moment we met Dr. Zapf at the consultation, then through two surgeries and then recovery, his care, professionalism, and expertise were outstanding. Dr. Zapf not only took the time to explain every step of the procedures in a way that was clear and reassuring, helping to ease her and my anxiety. His humor and connection with young athletes was like nothing I have seen in other surgeons. The surgery itself was a complete success, and her recovery went even better than expected. My daughter felt supported every step of the way and even has decided to study Kinesiology in college due to her experience with Dr. Zapf. It's clear that Dr. Zapf is not only incredibly skilled but also genuinely cares about their patients' well-being.

Now I found myself in a situation needing physical therapy for my knee from an injury while serving on the Fire Department. After weeks of going back and forth with Coast Physical Therapy and the insurance company for my workers comp injury, making appointments then they would cancel them, promising to call me to reschedule and never did. They ultimately refused to treat me and declined the worked comp payments. This is not how you treat an individual that gave 37 years of his life to public safety. I encourage all first responders to boycott this business if this is the way we are treated for our life of service.

Most clinics use aides to do much of the work at a physical therapist's direction! Not so at Coast, their PT's create and execute a treatment plan for each patient.i love this approach! In my case Suzanne Perry is my PT, and she has literally kept me physically together over the years! I am so grateful to her for not giving up on me, as I have one thing pop up after another! Just goes to show she is up to the challenge. I can definitely recommend Coast and their physical therapists if you need to seek out a clinic for your physical therapy needs!

Long overdue review!…read more I've been seeing Kendra here for over 3 years. She has the knowledge both hands on and through exercises to get you back to life/sport. As a runner, I couldn't be more grateful to have been given Kendra as a referral. She is not only your PT but she becomes your friend and I'm so thankful to have her in my toolbox as an athlete and person. In the last 6 months I also started seeing Morena for pelvic floor physical therapy. There are not many options for pelvic floor around and it takes a certain person to be able to heal you, help you recover and teach you about the part of your body. This was my third visit to a Physical Therapist in the last 6 months after never going before my…read moreentire life, getting old has its disadvantages. I could no longer go on with my ongoing shoulder pain, and prayed for an answer to getting back to health. Other PTs tried getting me to invest in costly new age or forever ongoing treatment so despite my hesitation, I am grateful to report that prayers are being answered. Madeleine at the front desk has been consistently helpful getting me in after a cancellation and even checking with my insurance so there were no surprises in pricing. She was delightful and it was great to finally meet her in person. I was seen immediately after check in and Dr. Kevin provided an assessment. He allowed me to share the full scope of what was going on, administered stretches and movements, answering all my questions and shared his diagnosis of the problem. Thankfully, surgery would not be required. After addressing the problem, he helped me understand the mechanisms that led to it and turned toward focusing on the solution. After taking me to the therapy room him and his team began working on me, compressing and decompressing the affected area, and taking me through many of the movements I will need to do in between our next visit. One of the things that stood out was the love and teamwork in the room, not only from the staff but all the patients. It was obvious that the Kinetik Team put people, not paycheck first. The patients loved the team and many of them had conversations around what's important to all of us, family, work, vacations and life in general. Sure helped us take our mind off the work we were all doing to rehabilitate. I was very well cared for and felt valued. I scheduled my next appointment, have my treatment overview and left with a sense of hope for healing and restoration along the road ahead. If you need PT work, this is 100% the place to go.
