Movement with confidence, awareness of why we're doing the exercise we're doing and challenging or not the injury - things you get in a professional training room instead of a sad modern physical therapy office. Her treatment was immediately effective after the first appointment. Spoke with Laurie - the office manager - who argued with me and would not let me speak to the owner…read more- Holly - Holly told me that they took Medicare - and so I contacted my Dr to get a prescription - When I called Laurie to confirm that the prescription was faxed over - she said that the prescription was not received- I went to the Dr and picked up the prescription and then went to the Therapy office to drop off the prescription - Laurie took the prescription and was not communicative - when she would not respond to me - I opted to leave and call the following day to set up an appointment. When I called back - again, Laurie was uncommunicative. And she said that they did not take my insurance, whereby she wanted to argue about what had happened the day before. I asked to speak to Holly - the owner - and was refused. I would not have spent an hour to go to my Dr and then over to their office, had I been told that they didn't take my insurance.

As a runner, I couldn't be more grateful to have been given Kendra as a referral. She is not only your PT but she becomes your friend and I'm so thankful to have her in my toolbox as an athlete and person. In the last 6 months I also started seeing Morena for pelvic floor physical therapy. There are not many options for pelvic floor around and it takes a certain person to be able to heal you, help you recover and teach you about the part of your body. Just went for my first appointment at Spine and Sport! Met with Melissa and what can I say other…read morethan this: professional; extremely knowledgeable; patient; thorough; great listener; kind and understanding! 10/10 would recommend Spine and Sport. I was truly blown away by the amount of TIME that she devoted to me. She had compassion and gave me undivided attention, and actively listened to my issues from beginning to end in order to understand where I am now and how she can help me. Though I know she has probably treated my issues 1000 times, I felt like I was her first case...(for once, a PT who wasn't trying to tell me how I feel or hurry me up!) What a breath of fresh air! I feel like I got a real education on tendens and muscles and ligaments and this really helps me understand what I can do to speed up my healing. I can't say enough about how awesome my visit was. She worked me hard and it hurt so good!! The front desk staff, Yaneth and Ecole have been wonderful as well--helping me get in sooner than originally thought, so I can start my healing!
