I ll go no where else. I give well deserved kudos to Brennan DPM and Ms Mosse, the foot tech and clipper. They truly make my feet happy and pain free.

In fact, I suggested scheduling two weeks out because Fridays work best for me and I already have another doctor's appointment in the Wesley Chapel area. From the very beginning of the call, I didn't feel like Melissa was listening to me. I clearly explained that I wanted a Friday appointment at the Wesley Chapel location, yet she continued offering appointments on different days and at other locations. I had to repeat myself multiple times. It felt like she was more focused on filling the next available opening than listening to what I was actually asking for. The next issue involved my insurance. This part was my fault. I'm on my husband's insurance for the first time in my life, so I wasn't familiar with the process. When Melissa asked for my husband's name and date of birth, I didn't understand why that information was necessary. Instead of taking a moment to explain it differently, she repeated the same answer over and over. When I said I still didn't understand and asked if someone else in the office could explain it another way, she resisted my request. I wasn't asking because I wanted a different answer--I was asking because I thought someone else might explain it in a way that made more sense to me. I asked multiple times to speak with someone else, and each time my request seemed to be brushed aside. I also asked if we could simply schedule the appointment and finish the insurance information when I came into the office after confirming everything with my husband. That request was also denied. At one point, I became so frustrated that I said I would just take my business somewhere else. The response I received was simply, "Okay." There was no attempt to understand why I was frustrated, no effort to resolve the situation, and no sense that keeping me as a patient mattered. Eventually, after asking for the third time to speak with someone else, I was placed on hold for over 10 minutes. No one ever came to the phone, so I finally hung up. This experience wasn't about office policy. I understand policies exist, and I have no issue providing whatever information is required. It was about customer service. As patients, we're not just appointments on a schedule or tasks to complete before the end of the day. We're people. Sometimes we don't understand something, and we simply need someone to slow down, listen, and explain it differently. Throughout this entire interaction, I never felt heard. I never felt like Melissa showed any compassion or tried to understand where I was coming from. Instead, I felt like I was expected to either comply immediately or move on. A little patience, empathy, and active listening would have completely changed this experience.

After four emails and four texts and calling to make the appointment actually speaking to the staff, no one mentioned the price to me not even when I went to check in they took a copy of my Medicare card and my drivers license no mention of an office as a cost. I was a little put off at the end of my 15 minute visit with them since I had no other complaints other than arthritis in a toe, Dr Levin offered me a steroid shot and other options if it got worse. As I said when I got up to pay and I looked at the bill of $199.40.

The next day I left for the appointment and I got caught up in traffic. I called ahead and said I was en route but I was stuck (I was 11 minutes late at this point). The receptionist said I missed my appointment, and I had to reschedule. I explained I was only 11 minutes late and she said, "Well you still haven't done your paperwork." WHICH I DID. She went and looked for it and said she had no record of it. So I wasted a half hour doing all that paperwork for nothing. I told her in no uncertain terms, screw off, I'm not rescheduling. If this service and incompetence is indicative of the quality of care in the office, I want no part of it and I CERTAINLY won't trust this place with my feet. Good riddance. No second chances. Patients beware.

For a routine MRI, they dangerously neglected to check on my contrast tolerance, then made another mistake correcting it, and when I tried to get reassurance from their medical clerk Timothy, on a new order without contrast, he said--and I'll long remember it--"yes, yes, without contrasts that's not too hard to remember, is it?" aimed at an 81-year-old patient. Timothy then forgot the code in next order he sent, and when I called , he hung up on me--twice. Not being of a disputatious natures I was in genuine shock, and quit the practice. But not before I went out of my way to write to Dr Ang Nguyen to point out the ticking time bomb he had with staff competence and professional courtesy. I expected at least a note or a call of apology. but,,.. crickets. I've switched immediately to Bayshore Podiatry and its polite and competent staff. The difference is night and day, I don't see how Healthy Feet can stay in business with this level of bad judgment, abysmal staff competence, and adolescent superciliousness, followed by a refusal to apologize or admit error. Male patient, 81, Tampa. I am a mild-mannered Medicare patient, not a hot-head. I'll provide name and dates upon serious request here only , to avoid general reprisal and harassment Life'¡s too short. I'm at a better place. February 19, 2926
