I did not even know Modern Mission existed. The step kiddo was visiting for Spring Break & we wanted to do some fun kid- stuff. Think laser tag! We made an appointment. They offer 1 hour sessions on the bottom of the hour (1:30, 2:30 etc). When you arrive, there are tablets set up to sign a waiver. The staff is friendly and helpful. You watch a video on safety before entering. You choose between two different guns & you wear a headband which is how you re-charge (if you get "killed", you have to stick your headband to a charging station to "reload", & it's also how to tell if you've been "hit" or if you "hit" someone [it lights up & your gun goes kaput]). The indoor set is very fun...lots of places to hide; 3 stories. I got a little confused as to where my "team" was supposed to stay. So I just ran all over the place. We played for 1 hour (4 different games). Since we had a small group, one of the employees offered to play with us. He, of course, was very good. So he would shoot me, I would run to a recharge station, go back, he'd shoot me again, then I'd go to recharge, etc. This became a cycle. The stepkiddo loved it. Definitely gets the adrenaline going. Especially when you're on the lookout only to turn the corner & see the "enemy" (I screamed so loudly it scared everyone). The staff takes photos at the end & you can scan the QR card they give you to retrieve them for free. The only thing I would recommend is more charging stations. Once you're "dead" you have to find the stations & there were only 2 in my area (or maybe in the entire set). It took a lot of time to run to one. They offer promo codes for discounts too! I Played indoor Lazer tag with my family had a really good time. The guns were fun to use the headbands instead of vest kind of weird but not a big deal it works all the same. The only issue was with the two staff involved in running our games they seemed to be involved with their phones rather than running our games. If we had an issue, it sometimes would take them a second for them to realize we were even there, or they were gone no were to be found. the rest of the staff were really nice like Joe and Landon were very helpful with helping us with our issues. read more

This place is great. Well laid out and fun. Great staff!!! My family had a blast. Where can you run around like a kid again playing army? Right here. Fairly realistic "weapons" and obstacles to hide behind. They run you through several games that make the experience better than a full out free for all. Prices seemed about average for places like this. They have party rooms available. I think it would make a great birthday party. read more

Their airsoft field looks good and is good until it's not.. the normal players are toxic and say they hit you when they didn't. A few toxic people shot within 10 feet (my friend got injured) and the refs are friends with the cheaters so they get away with it. One of the rentals also got shot within 10 feet, I witnessed them report it to the ref, and nothing was changed. The refs really don't care. And did I mention that they allow a lot of foul language when kids are around? It literally says no foul language on the website! It gets really annoying. This is why more people don't get into airsoft because of people like this. If you wanna come here just beware the refs are very biased. PLEASE HONOR THE RULES AND PUNISH THE ONES WHO DONT FOLLOW THEM ITS THAT EASY!!! read more

Been here twice now and I've enjoyed it both times. The first time I reserved a session for indoor laser tag. Checking in was easy since we signed waivers online. The staff was friendly and the laser tag session was a lot of fun. The second time I came, I went in with a group of 16 for one of their walk in open sessions. The staff were still friendly, and helped anyone who hasn't been there before. They were patient with us. Everyone enjoyed the games. We also played their outdoor archery games. That was different and a lot of fun. It was like paintball but with arrows instead! I would recommend this place to anyone! It's so much fun and service is always great. read more

My only complaint is that the play structures are dilapidated and there are rusty screws sticking out of boards everywhere you turn. This place has high potential and great looks. But every time I have been there they had not enforced any rules such as: Camping, spawn killing, hiding, running, covering up sensors or even just hiding it, the list can go on. As to no one following any of the rules, it brings out the joy in working as a team and putting your skills to work. But your skills might just be worthless because they have faulty sensors (can't hurt them) and sometimes they have faulty guns which either will not reload or will not do damage. And the sights are off so you cannot aim. And the employees somehow do not see people hiding sensors, camping, spawn killing, ect... they should see it because they are playing the game with you. read more
