We went to Main Event specifically to bowl and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience…read more We paid $75 for 90 minutes of bowling, so we expected to actually be able to use most of that time. Instead, our lane had so many technical issues that technicians had to come out FOUR separate times. We spent what felt like almost as much time waiting for the lane to be fixed as we did actually bowling. The pins and sweeper repeatedly got stuck, and there was a 4-6 minute delay between players on almost every turn. With only 90 minutes of bowling time, that downtime really added up and significantly impacted our experience. I do want to mention that the food was great and the staff was very friendly and helpful. However, we simply can't justify spending $75 for a 90-minute bowling experience when so much of that time was lost because of equipment issues. Hopefully the bowling equipment can be addressed, because otherwise it really takes away from what should be a fun experience.

The employees are young and maybe need some more training in customer service. They remind me of the people who work at a McDonald's = they don't really want to be there, but it is a pay check, so they are there. No really friendly, but not mean either. If they could get a better paying job elsewhere, that is where they would be. Instead they are here and they'll make the best of it. So, fine customer service, but certainly not great. This is true of the bowling, games, food, and laser tag employees (I interacted with all of them). Last note: the place was fairly very clean overall. Even the bowling shoes smelled good. Bathrooms very clean. Games are not as greasy as Chuck E Cheese. I do recommend this place a fun night out. Just know what to expect and it will be a fun time for all.
