DO NOT GO HERE!…read more yesterday 11/22 i called this place & asked about brakes. the guy said to come in & they would take a look, then quote me on the price when i arrived the guy up front was nice & had my car taken to be looked at about 20 minutes later some lady (who appeared out of no where) came outside & told me it would be SEVEN HUNDRED & FIFTY DOLLARS!!!!!!! for BRAKES!!!! i looked at her so crazy & told them NO take my car down THEN she said (with an attitude of course) "well its $75 for an inspection fee" i was appalled. BECAUSE the man on the phone NEVER advised that there was an inspection fee! & i know darn well i would have NOT pulled up to this place if he had told me that bc that is ridiculous & i would never go somewhere with charges like that. i told the lady i was never advised of such thing & she said "i'll go talk to him." then she never came back out???? & once the mechanic took my car down he brought me my keys & said i could go. SKETCHY!! then to top off my horrible experience, once i get home my tire is completely FLAT! i had to call my insurance to put the spare on the next day. & then i drove to a REALLY GOOD LLANTERA who was able to patch it thank God, bc it was a NEW TIRE! mind you, no nail was found in my tire it basically looked punctured :) i refuse to believe a place of business would put someones LIFE in danger by acting nasty like that, but granted the attitude i was given there & the outrageous quotes i was provided i dont doubt there were mad they didnt make a dime off me that day!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

I am a salesman. I walked into Tri-City's front office. The owner was extremely rude. I never said…read moreanything rude in response to his anger. I was calm and polite. He kept repeating that he didn't talk to salesmen, even though I asked him a very simple question. Do you use epoxy glue? He yelled at me at the top of his lungs, "Get out!" He reminded me of Will Smith at the Oscars slapping Chris Rock. He physically rushed around the counter from behind the Covid plastic screen to try to start a fight with me. I couldn't believe it. Was this guy okay in the head? Why was he rushing towards me? In that moment, he actually verbally threatened me with physical violence and made me believe he was going to start a fight with me. Thank God there were no woman or children in the waiting room. I was near the door. "Should I run out of the shop?" I asked myself. I never said anything wrong and never once raised my voice. All I did was ask a simple question. I think said, "I was just asking you, if you used epoxy." When he saw I wasn't scared of him and that I was just calmly standing there, he stopped rushing towards me and started berating me. He was yelling at me at the top of his lungs. Please be kind. Kindness cost nothing. I let him know how his behavior made me feel and turned around and walked out of his shop. Then I drove around the corner and cried for ten minutes in my car thinking of how much I hated my job and my life. I am a sales man and it is difficult for me to make a living. It doesn't cost anything to be kind. But you will lose business by being rude. How many people think Will Smith was justified in slapping Chris Rock? Think about that Dave. Tell me, do your employees actually like you? Please respect sales people please. These are difficult times. During 20211, Covid has made if difficult for everyone. I am leaving this review because I have had to make money for myself by actually going out onto the streets and knocking on doors and and walking form company to company. Every once in a while I meet an asshole like Dave. Life is hard. Please don't be mean to sales people who are just trying to survive. Don't pull a Will Smith like Dave! You can rest easy that Aaron at Tri-City will honestly diagnose your auto issues, recommend any repairs or service (all at reasonable prices), and also let you know which of the repairs and service are urgent and which can wait - and if so, for how long. Most of us are justifiably terrified of taking our vehicles to the mechanics for fear of being ripped off, but Tri-City is honest and fair. I have ZERO reservations recommending these folks!

I have to tell you what happened so you can understand how amazing these business owners are! I was driving with my 10y/o son north on the 17, in thick rush hour traffic, headed to Rock Springs. My truck quickly overheated, it notified me and the temp was all of a sudden at 255, then 259! I made my way over to the next exit, Indian School, while hurrying to call my husband so he could navigate me to somewhere that I could cool down and get help. He saw a gas station, then an auto shop not far off the interstate. I made it to the auto shop. My son and I walked in and were greeted by Laura. I explained what happened and asked if I was able to get what I needed. She said, "Let me get Rudy for you". We let the engine cool and ended up chatting with Laura the whole time. What a wonderful human! She was so warm and positive. She clicked with my son, she answered all of his questions and embraced his silliness. Our stress disappeared and we were enjoying our time! When my truck was cool enough, we all went out to investigate. Unfortunately, it was not just a coolant issue. Rudy saw the leaky hoses. He knew I shouldn't continue to drive north and risk a bigger problem happening on the hill. With the kiddo in tow, I took his advice. He put 50/50 coolant/water into my radiator, Laura hugged my son and I, and we drove home to Ahwatukee. I had given Laura my business card and she called me a little bit after we got home to make sure we were safe. We made new friends for life last night. Laura, you call me any time! Upon first taking the car and inspecting it, Tony thought it was a head gasket leak, which was going to cost me $2200. Thankfully he took the extra time and effort to really make sure and found it was a water pump. He fixed that and also took care of some other important issues that were going to cause me great difficulty in the near future if not addressed. I got more fixed than I expected and only paid $1345.
