I had a dealership damage my wheel, try to hide it, then admit they did it. Over a month and nothing was handled after numerous other problems. I decided to post my experience on Facebook to warn others of this dealership. Well, according to this Joe's Auto owner, Joe, my complaint is stupid. Why? Because my wheels are stock and not worth 10K+ like his wheels on his dozens of vehicles. Also, because he is smart enough to know that even though I posted this complain over a month after it occurred, that I must have not tried to do it in private. But not smart enough to assume if it's been over a month, I have likely, and have, tried to handle it in private. I recommend you not go to this shop as the owner supports the idea that damage done during a service is a small problem when the wheels aren't worth the amount his personal ones are. read more

Terrible. After not having my VW GTI for 3 months, 3 different Joes Auto locations later, these guys finally figured out how to replace my motor after "misdiagnosing" my car. The general manager, Taylor and other guy, Mike were sitting at the front desk when i picked up my car and went on to say my car is "running great after testing". They told me the motor they put in will not be under warranty even tho it was their mistake. When i started my car it misfired. Not even 3 weeks later i took it back in for a check engine light. They told me there was a leak in my water pump and my car had to stay in the shop once again. Next day calls me saying its a "loose O-ring". Weird considering they said they checked everything before giving me my car back. Ive taken my car back in more than 5 times after motor was replaced. I requested to speak with the General Manager, Taylor MONTHS ago and still have not received a call back. I ended up having to sell my GTI because my belt tensioner was badly squeaking and i had oil draining out of my motor. They completely ruined my car and they know it. I am not from around the area nor am I an expert in the auto world but Joe's Auto was amazing to visit due to service hence 5/5. I met Jason who was at the front desk and he was welcoming, friendly and overall awesome at answering any questions I had without judgement. Omar did my brake inspection and he even welcomed me out to the garage so he can show and teach me what he checked including the measurements for my front brake pads. I went to another auto shop prior to them and they found their measurements totally off so I am glad I came here before paying unnecessary parts at the other place for something I didn't actually need. Omar was absolutely friendly and you can immediately tell he is looking out for the best for you and not cheating you. He also showed me other areas of my car without me asking, checked my tires and I appreciate that so much. Definitely knows his stuff. Come here if you want to be charged extra. Had brand new oem parts I wanted installed . They couldn't do it . Wanted me to buy the parts from them . Don't be fooled folks . I've never been to a shop where they told me they wouldn't install the parts I had . I understand cheap eBay parts but oem ? Really . Had an oil change yesterday. When it was done the upsell came. They said I needed new brakes up front to the tune of $349. I asked if that was just for pads. No....rotors too. I felt uneasy about it so I took it to Brake masters a few blocks away. They inspected and said nothing wrong. Joe's said my pads were 2 millimeters and Brake masters measured at 5 millimeters. So, either their tech is a moron and did not know how to read the device or the company is trying to screw me. No other choices. Bottom line..... go to an oil place to get an oil change. Shops like these make money on the upsell or direct lying. Stay away from this business unless they fire the person who was trying to rip me off. read more

Poor customer satisfaction. After retuning a truck 2 times after $4k repair I still ended up taking to dealer to repair a rack amd pinion I paid to have replaced at Joe's. Failed to get the part back but had the truck at Lie's twice before I had dealer replace. Kept telling me there was nothing wrong except needing an alignment which they couldn't do on site. Paid another $100 as they took somewhere and then got back and said good to go. It wasn't.. dealer found leaking valve. No customer satisfaction at all. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I came in at 750. Before they opened at 8 just to get a oil/filter change. Was my first time here. Had a coupon for $19.99. I walk in being the only car there. And after showing my coupon I'm told I cant get in until 12 because they have a car they need to finish by 10am. I know oil changes take 10 min at most. I'll tell ya right now. They lost my business. Being a family owed place I thought maybe they'd be a good place for me to go. Guess not. I wont be going back. Not a good first impression at all. Do not use this company. They are a rip off. They do not back the work and they do and do not keep their word. They also charge you more than what you agreed to. Went to Joe's Auto just to get a AC charge. The ac was blowing cold just needed a charge. The car hadn't had a charge in two years. Nothing else was wrong with my AC unit. We went back to get the car from Joe's they tried to tell me about a whole lot of other things that the car needs. I asked for a print out of the parts and charges. We went from $53 to over $2,200 .We simply told them just charge the AC unit. get back now I have my serpentine belt torn and wrapped around my AC clutch my AC not working not blowing cold anything with a bill to fix everything from the AC clutch to the compressor to the expansion valve and receiver dryer. Over $2,000. Don't go to this place. If you go in and it smells fishy run. Just saying. read more

This auto place has horrible customer service. I went in for my scheduled appointment and before I could even advise why I was there I was told they were busy. My appointment was canceled without a courtesy call to reschedule. You would think at this point I would be the one with an attitude but the attitude actually came directly from the individual at the front desk when I asked to reschedule. I did agree to reschedule for another day only because I had bought the Groupon online. But once I was told bye the gentleman at the front desk that he didn't know if they could call on Monday to let me know if my appointment would be cancelled again I was over it. I canceled the voucher and will go use somewhere else. This is poor service and if that particular individual doesn't enjoy his job he should consider getting a job somewhere else. Wow I don't even know where to start to describe my experience with Joe's Auto. It was the worst place I ever decided to get my vehicle repaired at. They charged me $1600 for a new condenser & compressor that didn't fix the issue of my ac not working. The entire time it was a leak in the hose that they found months later with dye. They should have checked that from the very beginning. But obviously didn't because that would have been a lot cheaper. I get the hose repaired myself because I'm not going to continue to give Joe's Auto my business. Ac still not working. I take it to a better body shop near by and they proudly let me know that the condenser was not a brand new & it was no longer working. So this body shop will install everything new at a lower price about $900. Point of my story is save your time/stress/money & just drive by Joe's Auto. Don't ever think to go there unless you have millions to blow because they will gladly take all of what you have in your pockets. Btw this shop does not deserve one star. But I needed to make a comment so everyone is aware. read more

I would give them ZERO starts if I could. I took my car in to get the Power steering pump and hose replaced. I paid over $800 to get this done. Immediately after I got my car back I noticed a weird noise that wasn't there before so I took the car back and they found that the power steering pump was defective and replaced it under warranty. After I got my car back again I noticed that the sound did not go away, I gave it a week and I took it back for a second time and they again found the pump defective and replaced it for the second time. After I got my car back again I noticed the sound was not gone and I took it back for a third time, and they again found a defective power steering pump and replaced it under warranty claiming they went to a different supplier. Again, the noise was not gone. At this point I did not feel comfortable or that I could trust them so I decided to take my car elsewhere to someone that specializes in Hondas. This person told me that the power steering pump was still defective and so were the hoses that they were supposed to replace. I cannot understand how I could have three defective power steering pump's in a row. I had to pay someone else almost $2000 to fix what Joe's auto had done wrong. I I then called Joe's auto back and told them what had happened and asked that they at least reimburse me for the part as I felt that that was fair because I had to pay somebody else to replace the part again. I was told that a manager would call me back the next day to discuss this, I never got a callback. One week later I called again and was told that the manager was on vacation and would return on Monday and would call me back, no call back again. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THEM!!!!!!!!!! read more
