Trying to make an appointment was a nightmare. First, I got shuffled off to some call center, then sent back to the McKay location, where I waited on hold forever before someone finally picked up. And when they did, there was no friendly greeting, just a brisk "Village Medical? Birthdate? Name?" It felt really cold and unprofessional. When I mentioned my hernia issue, they just told me they're booked till mid-April. That's it for me. I'm on the hunt for a new family doctor. My wife already left them because they kept nagging her about her weight. I'm definitely out of there too, as soon as possible.

If you get your STD testing make sure you get the full panel if i remember correctly in 2020 Dr.Burch told me he didn't test for herpes cause "why freak ppl out since everyone has herpes" and the more recent times ( may/July 2023) i have been the other doctors have just told to lose weight for the things i was expressing concern about seems like the go to solution for them which doesn't make me feel like they are listening to me. Ladies at the desk have sometimes been unprofessional since i can hear their conversations in the waiting area, but i like hearing the office tea so doesn't bother me.

Recently, I came in after having a headache for over a week. Upon talking to a doctor, I was immediately sent to her a CAT SCAN with the word STAT on the paperwork. I was scheduled the following day but my insurance denied the coverage. After another week I went again back into the office. The office manager was so mad at my insurance she called them immediately. She was able to get a conference call between them and my doctor and got it approved the same day. I got a CAT SCAN done the next day. I ended up having a blood clot in my brain. She probably saves my life. I highly recommend this group of dedicated professionals.

I had a 9:20 AM appointment this morning with Eve Patton, mind you I haven't seen her for nine…read moremonths. So I arrived at 9:05 AM to fill out some new forms since I haven been back for a while. As soon as I arrived I was given the forms and paid my copay, the forms didn't take long to fill out and was done by 9:20 I was told to wait. At 10:00 I inquired how much longer the wait would be and I was told they would check. Did not get a response! At 10:20 waiting one hour form the original appointment time, I inquired once again to how long it would be since I did have to get back to work. I was then told I had one person before me. At 10:35 I was asked to go back, the took my vitals and led me to a room where her assistant asked the usual questions as well as why I was their today (which was just for labs). I waited another hour till 11:30 and I still had not seen Dr. Patton, I was so upset by this time, I decided to get my copay back and go find another doctor who will treat my illness and me with respect. The worst part is that they have a sign that's " If you are more than half an hour late for your appointment, you will have to reschedule and pay a $25.00 fee. I will not ever go back their again my time and health is too valuable to be treated in this manor.
