I just relaxed and the gal (forgot her name) gave a surprisingly good massage. She went pretty deep, but not crazy. And she did my hands and arms (they don't always do that). I work with my hands a lot so this felt great. I will probably return. The price was MUCH better than a lot of the chain places that want $80-100+ for a pretty lame soft touch massage that covers maybe 1/2 of you. This was just as professional for less $. The gal worked hard and I always appreciate someone who does that.

When it comes to being draped properly, and having a comfortable table - this is where you want to be! Both Lori and Misty have great technique and can work on just about anything. I've been to other places whose staff seems to only be one-trick ponies. I would recommend them to any friend or family member. I have had only one slight issue with schedule; however that is worked out and making appointments at the Elk River office is the way to go.

I was going to be taking the place of a client who had last-minute canceled on a stylist named Heidi. The consultation time with her was very short. She asked very minimal questions, but I was told by the lady at the front desk that she was "very good" so I trusted her. However, I was wrong to do so. The overall experience at the salon was pretty pleasant. She made good conversation with me and I was provided with water. I walked out of the salon pretty happy with my results. I thought that my bangs were a little bit short, but I didn't mind that much since that happens almost every time I go in to get a touch up knot my bangs. mind u i barely have bangs they are basically long curtain bangs that i like to have because i wear my hair up a lot and i like the look. anyway, day goes by I have a headband in because I was doing chores all day. I come home take my headband off and am shocked. I was left with choppy, uneven, way too short bangs. I am not sure how she was able to style them so I couldn't tell when I left the salon, but it's safe to say I will be stuck wearing that very same headband until these grow out to a reasonable length so that I can fix them and they won't be too short. Safe to say this is one of the worst touchups I have ever had and that I will forever be scared to go back into any salon and ask them to touch my bangs ever again. I'm sad to leave, I don't like doing this. This place was recommended by my mom, she saw a different stylist who wasn't available this day , not sure if it would've been a better decision to wait the next day she would be in work or if I should've never came into the salon at all. I was hoping this would be a much better experience, considering their prices are very reasonable and it was a pretty quick cut. But sadly, I have learned my lesson and will probably stick to cutting my own hair despite being FAR from a professional.
