On arrival it seemed very busy but after talking to the 2 " boys that run it" they were adament that they could get the parts and have it fixed for me later the same day. On return to the garage i was not holding my breath that they would have managed this but to my suprise the car was ready and waiting for me. The 2 brothers who run it were very pleasant and knowledgeable and i would certainly go back without hesitation. ps They also have a lovely dog with the biggest ears you have ever seen.

With in 30mins I was off the embankment and sitting safely on the top of our hill with minimal damage. The company was very cautious and aware of not adding to the existing damage caused from my putting it over the embankment. Not being an expert, I really needed a knowledgeable assessment of what was going on before making the 12 hour return drive home. I found First Stop Auto on 41 Adelaide Street in Saint Johns North End by sheer grace and good fortune. I walked into the office and first off asked if one of the fellas would drive the vehicle so they could feel what was going on. Without hesitation, Tim had the key and we took a few block radius spin. Though the shop was fully booked for the day, knowing I was on my way back to MTL, and I believe, because it was obvious I was "camping" in the vehicle, Tim offered to hoist Honda and make an assessment at the end of the work day, so that I could, if it was possible, be safely on my way that same day. I unstrapped my bike from the roof and rode into the tourist section of Saint John for the afternoon. (The Busker Fest was fun. Wonderful artists. And the indoor market, a few blocks up the hill, is worth a gander.) Around 5:30 Paul, the proprietor (I believe), gave me the prognosis. =D Almost my worst fears. He suggested I take the bus back, and that of course, the vehicle was not worth investing in, several components were on the brink of failure, BUT that my most immediate concern was the radiator. I asked if Honda was safe to drive. "Yes. I would survive but old Honda might not." =D. K. I stocked up on jugs of water. Took a couple old bottles of that rad sealer fluid in case of dire need, and already had a good stock of overflow coolant. A few Hail Mary's, a few Tibetan Chants, Paul and Tim's blessings, and I was back on my intrepid way. I bought Paul a lotto ticket. If he won I may not see him and Tim when I roll back into Saint John in August with a couple cases of fine beer! I would, without hesitation, send my auto business their way! Beautiful. Great people. Immeasurably grateful for businesses like this one.

Terrible customer service and terrible / low grade tires…read more - I have a 2020 vehicle, I've had to buy new tires EVERY SEASON since getting my tires through O-town and their sister company Tire King. The tires are garbage, yes I'm the dumby who went back 3 times for tires but the third time will be the last time. - I went in 2 days ago and was told the winter tires I BOUGHT FROM THEM LAST WINTER WERE ALREADY DOWN TO THE WEAR BAR.... Needless to say they already had them off the rims. I said sure I'll get 2 new tires for the front and that's it. So I got them installed, knew in my gut I bought crappy tires. Drove home, went to work the next day, parked the car. Came out at the end of the day to 2 completely flat front tires. I called the Otown and they said to - drive it to the Irving down the road.... I said I don't think you understand the concept of a flat tire or two for that matter. He said to get it to the shop and leave it for the night. This is Halloween night by the way. I had to call a tow truck to come fill up my tires which took an hour and a half to arrive. I finally get my tires filled after paying $69 for that fee. Dropped the car off at otown and next day they called me to tell me it was finished. I went in after work and picked it up, he informed me that there was rust inside my rim... funny how those tires were suppose to be set on cleaned rims as the old tires were there for a year and didn't leak. Needless to say, they paid my tow bill and I won't be back here OR their sister company tire king. BUYER BEWARE, you get what you pay for with cheap tires. GO ELSEWHERE
